We pay over 210k a year in pension contributions. Monthly Bonus After you pass your probation you can earn a monthly bonus. Your bonus is linked to KPIs and the company s financial performance. Loyalty Points After 2 years service you'll start to get loyalty points. Loyalty points let you get even better benefits, like; higher levels of healthcare, increased contribution towards your pension, payment towards your gym membership, give you more holidays, or even plant trees to offset your carbon footprint! Life Assurance As soon as you start, you'll get life assurance worth 2x your annual salary free of tax and national insurance to protect your dependents. Company Bonus An annual bonus based on the success of the company. It's paid in June with an interim payment in December. Share Options Periodically share options are awarded to our people. These allow all of us to share the rewards of the Chess growth journey through ownership. Core Benefits Here's our standard stuff first, we know these things are really important to you, so we've made sure we've done them really well. Duvet Days After your first year at Chess you can take a Duvet Day. This is an extra days holiday each year that you can take at short notice. Holidays Start with 20 days and watch them increase on work anniversaries. You'll get bank holidays too. Half-Day Fridays After you pass probation you can start to take one half-day Friday a month. This is open to all Chess people including part-time workers. Make sure you fill in the form and read the rules on Chess Wiki. Medicash From your first day you can access the basic level of Medicash for 10 per month. After a year of service it s free. It gives you cash back on dental and optical costs as well as loads of other treatments like physio, consultant visits etc. Dental Plan Chess provide a stand-alone dental plan covering you for up to 1750 each year. Health Screening Every couple of years Chess organise an onsite health screening. For anyone opted into Medicash this covers the cost of the screening. Opticians Everyone at Chess is entitled to one free eye check up each year. We can also help get great discounts on glasses and lenses through Specsavers. Green Car Scheme The Chess Green Car scheme works very simply. You can choose to surrender a certain amount of your gross salary each month in return for the provision of a fully expensed lease eco-friendly car. This works in much the same way that a salary sacrifice scheme works for any other eligible benefit such as childcare vouchers, bike to work and computers. The scheme is accessed through the Chess4U website. Bike to Work Save money and the environment by taking part in Bike to Work. Loan bikes and safety equipment as a tax-free benefit.
