3 Career Research 1. Go to Select: Sign up ( if you have an account then sign in & skip to step 4) 2. Activation Key: Frank Hurt 3. You will need your PEN number before starting. Follow the steps to create and account, 4. On the left hand sidebar select Who am I There are 5 quizzes to be completed: Learning Styles, Personality, Interests, Knowledge, Motivations 5. Once you are done the quizzes look at the box to the right. All quizzes will now show green and you can click on the Compatibility Survey link below. This will take you to a list of careers that match your answers. These careers are not in any order and you can select the education or career cluster you are interested in 6. Select a Career and click on Get Started. You will then answer a series of questions that are related to that career. Once you are done click on View Match and it will take you back to the list of careers and let you know the % match you were to that career choice. 7. Once you are done click on the career and click on all the tabs of information related to this career. Click on outlook a. What Career did you select What % match were you b. What is the BC job outlook What is the Salary range 8. What is the most surprising thing you learned about this career? 9. Click on Requirements, then scroll down to Potential Programs. *List two institutions that offer training in your career field and list program name, length, and cost. YOU MUST INCLUDE THE COST: Institution Name Program Name Program Length Program Cost 10. Check what is required to apply to these programs (courses, portfolio, audition, etc).
