PSA Resolution No. 4 Series of 2016 Institutional Organization for the SDGs The PSA Board enjoined all concerned government instrumentalities to provide the necessary data support to monitor the country s performance visà-vis the SDGs based on the indicator framework that shall be determined by the NEDA, PSA and other government agencies Jetfabrik Multipurpose Theme. 17 2. Philippine Statistical Development Program (PSDP) Republic Act No or the Philippine Statistical Act of 2013 mandates the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to prepare, in consultation with the PSA Board, a Philippine Statistical Development Program (PSDP). 17

19 3.Executive Order No. 352 (1996) System of Designated Statistics (SDS) Designation of Statistical Activities That Will Generate Critical Data for Decision-making of the Government and the Private Sector Objectives identifies and generates the most critical and essential statistics establishes priorities for data production identifies the sources of official statistics. defines the agency responsible, frequency of data production and schedule of data dissemination. EO 352 allows modifications of the SDS through the PSA Board. 19

Data Quality Assessment Framework (DQAF) for National Accounts Statistics (2004) Section Timeliness follows international standards which are the General and Special Data Dissemination Standards(G/SDDS) of the International Monetary Fund Standard Series Release SDDS quarterly GDP within 3 months after the end of reference quarter GDDS annual GDP 6 to 9 months after the end of reference year 20
