4 CESP for Smaller Communities External Wall Insulation - 10 properties for only 10,000* If you thought the Community Energy Saving Programme (CESP) was too complex for your housing stock, and that your scheme was of insufficient size to attract funding.think again! Climate Energy has teamed up with EDF Energy to bring you CESP for Smaller Communities. This innovative offer brings funding to schemes as small as TEN properties; in fact you can have External Wall Insulation (EWI) installed and either draught proofing or loft insulation in CESP eligible, two storey dwellings, from as little as 1,000 per dwelling capital cost. We can do this by maximising the CESP funding available, and reducing the cost to Housing Providers by as much as 85%. If you can answer yes to the following questions your scheme should be eligible: Do I have a minimum of 10 (maximum of 50) houses (street properties) in a CESP area? Do they have an existing wall U Value of 2.1 W/m 2 K** or greater? Do I have 10k capital budget? The Climate Energy CESP team can help you check if your dwellings are in a CESP area, and we can also help with advice on standard U Values.** If your CESP scheme does not meet the above criteria, don t worry, we can provide a bespoke solution and provide advice and guidance on getting your scheme moving, and securing funding. Just call us on (ask for the CESP team) or details of the properties to cesp@climateenergy.org.uk. All properties must be in a CESP area as determined by the CESP order. Projects must be completed by March The EWI system must be on the OfGem approved list and be certified by the BBA. All dwellings receiving EWI must also have a second measure installed. The funding for this offer is calculated on an external wall starting U Value of 2.1 W/m 2 K and a finishing U Value of 0.3 W/m 2 K. Funding is provided by EDF Energy and you will be required to sign a declaration. Funding is limited and schemes will be accepted on a first come first served basis. Funding is for new works only. All schemes are subject to contract and maximum meterages may apply. *Terms and conditions apply ** A U Value is the measurement of the rate of heat loss through a material.
