3 T RY TO STRT efore assembly, use scissors to unwrap the parts from the packaging. O NOT use a box cutter or exacto-knife as you may cut into the mantel pieces inside the box and damage the finish. heck for the hardware bag which is R and located inside the packaging, taped to the top box. e sure you O NOT discard any pieces. Use an appropriate screwdriver to insert and tighten all screws. Step S P M36 WIN NUT NHOR RIHT SI PNL P LT SI PNL P Step Locate base and place it on the floor. o not put it up against the wall at this point in the assembly as you need to get in behind KON the mantel during assembly. Step SRIPTION RIHT RONT PNL P Locate left and right side panels and. Take left side panel and line up the hole in the block on left side panel with the hole in base. Once lined up insert and tighten wing nut through (4x5mm) lock washer. o not over tighten and strip wing nut. Repeat for right side panel. S T SI PNL XTRIOR HT SI PNL XTRIOR LT RONT PNL RIHT RONT PNL NTRL HR Step 3 SRIPTION QUNTITY UPPR IN S P P S SUL Locate left and right front panels and. Take left front panel and line up the hole in the block on left front panel with the hole in base. Once lined up insert and tighten wing nut through (4x5mm) lock washer. o not over tighten and strip wing nut. Line up the 3 holes in the 3 blocks on left side panel with the 3 holes in left front panel. Once lined up insert SPRIN and LOK tighten 4PS 3 wing nuts PS through lock washers. o not over tighten and strip wing nuts. Repeat for right QUNTITY front panel. 4 Step 4 LT H SRW Locate central header. Place central header onto the mantel RIHT RONT PNL P assembly already built. Line up the 6 holes in central header with the 6 holes in the already built assembly (3 on each of the left and right front panels and ). Once lined up insert and tighten (4x5mm) 6 wing nuts though 6 lock washers. o not over tighten and strip the wing nuts. This top is very heavy. It will take people to lift and position the top into place. Place top onto the mantel RIHT assembly RONT PNL already P built with the front and sides over the assembly. rom underneath, line up 5 holes in the mantel top with 5 holes in the mantel assembly ( each in the left and right side panels (4x5mm) and and in the central header ). Insert and tighten 5 wingnuts through 5 lock washers. Once you are close to the wall, plug the I 3 I 5 firebox into the nearest outlet. The firebox comes with 3 metal brackets and 0 black screws. These metal brackets must be attached to all 3 sides of the firebox and sides of the mantel to ensure that your firebox does not move around as IN you use it. ll 3 trims attach to the firebox by inserting and tightening SPRIN LOK 4PS PS PS LT H SRW screws. oth the left and right side trim attach to the mantel front by (4*5mm)PS inserting and tightening screws The top trim does not attach to the mantel, just the firebox. If you KON have any questions about the firebox please reference the installation LT H instructions that come with the firebox. You RIHT SI PNL XTRIOR NTRL HR LT PRONT PNL P LT RONT PNL may need to use wall plugs () if you are attaching RIHT RONT PNL to drywall NTRL SHL or plaster. 3. Position the bracket over the holes and use the longer screws () to securely attach the bracket to wall. 4. Place the furniture so the bracket () on the back edge is in line with the bracket () on the wall. UPPR IN P 5. Place an end of the nylon restraint strap RONT S () SUPPORTOR down through each bracket (). ring both ends together and slide the end of the strap through the slot in the other end until snug. Pull down on OTTOM SUPPORTR P the end until it snap locks into the slot. 6. heck to make sure the strap () is securely laced and locked to the brackets (). Young children may be injured by tipping furniture. The use of a S SUL tipping restraint is highly recommended.
