The total portfolio is currently composed of 4% securities, 7% money markets and LGIP's, and 79% bank balances. All other monies are in LGIPs or interest bearing accounts. The Core Portfolio had a return of 0.40% as compared to the benchmark of 0.22%, which has outperformed the benchmark performance by 0.8%. The return for the last 2 months was 0.76% versus the benchmark of 0.08%. The Annual Interest Earnings for the operating budget were $5 million compared to $3.2 million for last year. This is primarily due to rising interest rates and changes made to the investment policy last year.
