In March of 2016 the denied the applications for the LNG terminal and the related pipeline. Because the WPA and the State of had filed timely requests for intervention (see Feb- 2015) the WPA and the State of had standing necessary to file formal request for rehearing of order denying applications. Other than the project sponsors, only the WPA and the State of filed the formal requests of rehearing. The WPA and the State of pointed out errors in the reasoning for the denial of the applications has granted itself unlimited additional time to respond to the formal requests for rehearing filed by sponsors, WPA and the State of.
