22 Findings from NRR project Some elements of Danish care system are hard to explain. For example: The way we measure product quality in the Danish Health care system The features of an entirely publicly funded system The way we divide labor between staff and management

23 Findings from NRR project The planning of tests are quite different in Denmark and Japan. This influence: The types of results we reach The way we actually carry out the tests The amount of instruction neccesary for the staff

25 Findings from NRR project Our understanding of authorities: A specialists opinion (eg. A doctor) is important, but not the ultimate truth We put faith in the opinions of those that actually carry out the work Caregivers Nurses The foremost expert is actually the patient/ elderly person
