3 INSTRUCTIONS 1) Add the 'Ninja Signals' script and backtesting strategy (version 1.0 or 2.0) to your TradingView chart layout: Bitcoin Ninjas 'Ninja Signals' Buy/Sell Alerts TradingView Script (SCRIPT) and (STRATEGY) 2) Select your preferred trading currency and exchange (e.g. BTCUSDT:Bittrex, LTCBTC:Binance, etc.), and the period/candle setting you wish to trade with. (Note: If using USDT or USD pairs, you may need to change order type to contracts instead of USD in the Properties section of the strategy.) 3) Go to the backtesting strategy settings and adjust the calibration setting, RSI buy/sell filters, downtrend buy filter, stop loss, etc., until you achieve desired results for your selected currency. 4) You may also adjust additional options in the backtesting strategy settings, such as the testing date range, minimum profit per trade (%), pyramid buying, order size, hiding buy/sell arrows, and more. 5) Enter your exchange s transaction fee (%) into the Commission box found in the Properties section of the backtesting strategy options to ensure transaction fees are factored into net profit. 6) Once you have achieved satisfactory testing results for your selected trading currency, apply the same settings to the script that you used in the backtesting strategy before setting your script alerts. 7) To set buy or sell alerts, right-click the script, click 'Add Alert', choose BUY ARROW & BUY ALERT, or SELL ARROW & SELL ALERT, then select 'Once per Bar Close' and any other settings you prefer. 8) To set stop loss or take profit alerts, right-click the script, click 'Add Alert', choose STOP LOSS & STOP LOSS, or TAKE PROFIT & TAKE PROFIT, then select 'Once per Bar' and any other settings you prefer. 9) To use the script for trading on multiple pairs or exchanges simultaneously, create a new chart (not just a new window), add a new copy of the script to the new chart, then repeat steps ) If you have any questions or would like to purchase a script license, please contact us via (NinjaSignals@BitcoinNinjas.org) or our Telegram support group (

6 HELPFUL TIPS 1) When first beginning to use the script, only set test alerts so you can become familiar with the script s basic functionality and performance before you attempt to do any live trading. 2) While learning to use the script, set alerts for only 1-2 currencies so you can easily track alerts, backtesting results (e.g. simulated list of trades), and become familiar with the script s performance. 3) For best results, use regular candles larger than 1h (e.g. 143m) to minimize price slippage. V1 tends to work best without Heikin-Ashi calibration, and V2 tends to work best with Heikin-Ashi calibration. 4) If using V2, start with a calibration number that matches your candle size (e.g. 143m candles with 143 calibration). For V1, you may find better results using calibration numbers larger than candle size. 5) Repeat steps #3 & #4 until you achieve at least 1% average profit per trade on backtesting results. 6) Continue adjusting candle size with matching calibration number to maximize net profit and percentage of profitable trades, while still maintaining 1% average profit per trade or more. 7) If using pyramid buying, make sure your order settings in the strategy properties section are correct. To use up to 4 buys per trade with initial capital 1000 USD: allow up to 4 orders, order size = 250 USD. 8) Finalize your preliminary settings, save your chart, and save your script settings as a TradingView indicator template so you can easily return to make further adjustments in the future. 9) Once you have a stronger understanding of the script, try applying various settings to fine tune the script's performance, such as enabling margin trading, applying downtrend/uptrend alert filters, etc. 10) For questions or help with the script, please use our Ninja Signals support group on Telegram ( to ensure you will receive an answer to your question as soon as possible from one of our team members or other script users that contribute to our community.

7 NOTE: Ninja Signals TradingView Script V1 uses a predictive Pine Script price calculation function that generates a high number of buy/sell arrows, which results in a large number of profitable trading opportunities, but also causes repainting of certain arrows when the script or chart is refreshed. If version 1.0 is monitored live by keeping the window open without refreshing, then comparing the live buy/sell arrows to the alerts, we see that they almost always align as expected (i.e. live buy/sell arrows almost always match with live buy/sell alerts). It s only after refreshing the screen or script that a small number of buy/sell arrows move or disappear, but the alerts were correct before the refresh. Due to popular demand, version 2.0 was created to eliminate buy/sell arrow repainting. However, this also means that version 2.0 results in a smaller number of profitable trading opportunities. We provide users with both versions of our script with every license purchase so that traders are equipped with both of these powerful tools to make amazing trades with a high degree of accuracy and precision. Our team prefers to never sell for a loss due to the fact that backtesting is an overestimate of script performance based on historical data from previous dates, not an exact prediction of future data. Most scripts overestimate profit predictions because they don t take into account critical variables such as transaction fees and real-world market impacts. We recommend using a "minimum profit per trade" setting of at least 0.2% when testing the script to guide your trading, regardless of what trading system you use (e.g. manual, automatic, etc.). We prefer to never sell for a loss because backtesting is only an estimate, not an exact prediction, so attempting to make maximum net profit by selling for a loss is far less predictable than only selling for profit every time, even if that means waiting for price to rise again if it falls. Never selling for a loss gives traders peace of mind and allows for significant profits, especially with automatic trading systems like Gunbot trading software, but also during manual trading.
