3 Fees and Charges Administration Fee: $40 per account (inclusive of GST) Metering Costs to Switch to the Scheme Single phase $ Three phase $ Reprogram fee^ $66.00 Metering costs are inclusive of GST. Communications equipment installation (if required) Additional charges of $ (inclusive of GST) may apply in situations where Western Power deems it is necessary to install communications capability on the meter to take the required meter readings for billing purposes (e.g. because they have no access to the meter, e.g meter typically found in lifestyle villages). ^If you already have an existing compatible meter your meter can (for the reprogram fee) be reprogrammed to have Scheme. If you are unsure or wish to confirm your meter type, please call Synergy on All prices quoted are correct at 1 September Prices are subject to change at any time. The meter is not transferable to any other property. The meter stays where it is installed, even if you sell the property and/or move. The meter always remains the property of the network operator, Western Power. Your meter installation or programming fee will be charged in full on your next Synergy bill. Your Scheme administration fee will be charged in full on your next Synergy bill. 1
4 Residential Customers Scheme buyback rate (applicable to Residential customers) Synergy buys from customer at GST is not applicable on the REBS buyback rate. Subsidy rate (Net Feed-in Tariff) * The net feed-in tariff scheme was suspended for new applicants at 8:00am western standard time on 1 August Category A 1. A qualified feed-in tariff customer who enters into a Scheme contract prior to 19 May A residential customer who: (i) Successfully applied to become a qualified feed-in tariff customer during the period 19 May to 30 June 2011; and (ii) Has their small renewable energy system approved by Western Power and connected to Western Power s electricity network (including the necessary meter and meter related equipment) by 30 September A qualified feed-in tariff customer who moves into a residential premise that had previously qualified for the 40 rate under either item 1 or 2 (refer to item 8, schedule 1 of the Renewable Energy Buyback Scheme Terms and Conditions). Feed-in tariff rates are exclusive of GST Category B 4. A residential customer who: (i) Successfully applied to become a qualified feed-in tariff customer during the period 19 May to 30 June 2011; and (ii) Has their small renewable energy system approved by Western Power and connected to Western Power s electricity network (including the necessary meter and meter related equipment) after 30 September A qualified feed-in tariff customer who successfully applies to become a qualified feed-in tariff customer after 1 July 2011 applicable to a residential premise not previously subject to a contract specified in Category A (refer to item 8, schedule 1 of the Scheme Terms and Conditions). 1 July 9 Dec 2011 from 10 Dec Feed-in tariff rates are exclusive of GST.
