To launch the UK business, Prological seek a Managing Director with a genuine passion for operationalising intelligent supply chain Prological will provide all the resources and infrastructure to ensure you hit the ground running and find success. Prological have already established a partnership with one of the UK s automotive icons and world leading motorsport brands; a relationship to be nurtured and leveraged. 1

3 This exciting opportunity demands an accomplished supply chain executive one who has an intimate understanding of domestic and European supply chain networks and their inter-relationships. You could be from consultancy or a significant domestic or international logistics firm; either way you have currency and connection. You will have relationships within the broad supply chain supplier communities including domestic and international freight, WMS, FMS, DMS and materials handling. Contribution and success will be rewarded in keeping with a role of this scale. Prological are open to various compensation models including salary only, salary plus performance based bonus, or buy-in and part ownership. 4 The Story The Beginning Years ( ) Prological came to life just eight years ago. Peter Jones, the firm s founder, decided 2010 was the right time to test his thoughts and resolve to transition his strong supply chain consulting capability into his own business. It was a humble beginning, with Peter operating by himself from a home office. The team doubled in 2012 with the addition of an analyst. Peter then added several experienced contractors who assisted in broadening Prological s capability and capacity. Peter s expertise in national and global network design, coupled with his unrivalled knowledge of the freight industry, led to further growth in reputation and demand for Prological s services. The Transition Years ( ) In 2014, Prological began an evolution into a comprehensive consulting firm. Since this time, the business has enjoyed strong growth enabling significant expansion of services and clientele. In 2017, the business added a General Manager of Consulting Services to drive the consulting project delivery. Prological also began its international expansion by establishing the New Zealand business with immediate success. In addition to this, a sister company, Cological, was founded to provide embedded resource options for their clients. This growth could only be achieved because of the ongoing trust and opportunities given to Prological by their clients.

Prological commenced business in 2010 with a focus on international and domestic freight strategy, design, specification and project management through to implementation as well as supply chain network design. 11 Success There are many ways to define success. Success for Prological has three key dimensions. 1 2 The work completed on every project must ensure client satisfaction. A key measure of success is for a client to engage Prological for a new project subsequent to the delivery of a successful project. Another indicator of success is when a client s reference or referral helps secure work with a new client. The work pursued is interesting for the team and the working environment is one of support and fun. Prological knows that their most important assets are the team members and they recognise that without them, there is no business. Success is therefore reflected in an engaged, enthused and committed team with a very low turn-over. Of course, success doesn t just happen. Prological s culture and values support the hard work put in by the team. It is the focused intent, creativity and perseverance which ultimately deliver the outcomes their clients demand and deserve. The UK business will have a running start. They have a strong business development pipeline from an existing client base and a motorsport sponsorship that will expose them to 30+ global brands. The Managing Director United Kingdom is also expected to generate business opportunities from their own contacts and broader network. 3 The business provides enough profit for all staff to be well paid relative to roles, responsibilities and commitment to the business. The business also needs to contribute to head office so that both philanthropy and business growth can continue. Prological Australia and Prological New Zealand will support the UK operation with the resources required to win and achieve success with the initial projects. The revenue derived from these initial projects will be reinvested to establish a self-sufficient UK business containing all the primary skills and capacity to achieve the growth objectives. 10

12 About You As Prological continues to expand, the role of the Managing Director United Kingdom will develop into a key global role within the group. London is home to 70% of the FTSE 100, 75% of Fortune 500 companies have offices in London and 20% of Europe s largest 500 businesses have their head office in London. It is important that Prological is close to these decisions points and has strong value-adding relationships with decision makers at this level. You will be a driven and outstanding individual tightly aligned to Prological s values. You will have the character and experience to inspire and lead clients to make the best supply chain decisions for their businesses. These same leadership skills will also harness and mobilise the great strengths within the team you create, the team that will deliver outstanding results and fulfil the commitments made to clients. You will be an informed, articulate and well-connected person with extensive networks built on your strong inter-personal skills.
