3 SEARCH FOR CLIENT. Search for the name of your client using the Search function on your homepage.. Alternatively, select the Clients tab.. Use the Search function on this page instead to find your clients record. 4. Select it from the list of results below. 4

4 TOP UP You will be taken to the client s record.. Select the policy to start the application process. 4

5 TOP UP (CONTINUED). From the Manage investment tab, select Create lump sum payment. 5

6 CLIENT INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTATION. Read the Personal Data Statement and confirm your agreement to it using the tick box.. The information and supporting documentation you will need for the application is shown. Please ensure you have this ready before proceeding.. Select Next. 6

7 USE AN ILLUSTRATION. Select Do not use illustration. Currently it is only possible to use an existing illustration at this stage for International Portfolio Bond and European Portfolio Bond applications. Select Next. 7

8 ADVISER FEE DETAILS. Enter the lump sum amount.. The details of the charge package will be displayed.. Confirm if you want to receive an initial fee for this application. 4. Choose to take the fee as a monetary amount or percentage. 5. Enter the amount/percentage of the fee. 6. Select whether the initial fee should be taken before or after investment. If it is taken before, it will not be included in the 5% withdrawal allowance. 7. Select Next

9 ASSETS TO BUY In this step, select the assets, portfolio of assets or new bank deposits you want to invest in.. Select the tab for Portfolios/New assets/new bank deposits.. Search for the portfolio/asset/bank deposit. We strongly recommend using the ISIN or Sedol number for assets you require, as it is difficult to locate the correct version using name alone. 9

10 ASSETS TO BUY (CONTINUED). Assets/portfolios/bank deposits that match your search criteria will be shown in the table below.. Tick the box next to the required asset(s).. Select Add asset(s). 4. Each asset will be added to the You are buying table. 5. Select Next when finished

11 ENTER BUY AMOUNT. For each asset/deposit added, select Add to confirm either the amount of units to buy or an indicative monetary buy amount.. Or use Quick allocation to enter percentages of the total investment to be bought for each asset/deposit, and turn to the next page of this guide.. If you have followed step on this page, enter the amount to be bought and select Save. Repeat for all assets selected, and skip to page. Note: If you wish to leave some of the investment in the transaction account, you do not have to allocate the full investment amount into the selected assets. Any amount not allocated to assets will be placed in the transaction account.

12 QUICK ALLOCATION If you have selected Quick allocation, you can enter the amount to be invested in each asset/deposit as a percentage of the total investment.. Enter the percentage into the Buy percentage field for each asset.. Or, use Split equally across all buys.. Select Save, and turn to page 4.

13 ENTER BUY AMOUNT (CONTINUED). The units and indicative buy amount based on current prices will be shown.. To make changes, select Edit.. If part of the investment is to be left in the transaction account (as it hasn t been allocated to an asset), the amount is confirmed. 4. Select Next when finished. Tip: Use the Back button (5) to return to the previous step. 5 4

14 APPLICATION OPTIONS. Choose the country of advice using the drop down menu.. Select Next. 4

15 PAYMENT DETAILS. Click Enter payment details.. Confirm whether the origin of wealth is the same as the original application. This will require that the amount confirmed as the total origin of wealth with the original application covers the value of both the initial and additional premium contributions.. If not, please select No and add the relevant details. 4. Select the payment method using the drop down menu. 5. Enter the currency and payment amount. 6. Select the bank account you wish to use. 7. Alternatively, use the Enter new bank details option to add another bank payment account

16 PAYMENT DETAILS (CONTINUED). Check all details entered are correct.. Select Next to continue. 6

17 DECLARE AND SUBMIT. Read through the adviser declaration thoroughly.. Check the boxes to confirm that you understand the declarations and provided the illustration to the applicant.. Click next. 4 Tip: A summary of the details entered at each step is shown on the right side of the page. Select a step to view details. 7

18 REVIEW SUMMARY Here you will be able to review all information entered during the application.. If you wish to review and edit individual sections, click the Edit button corresponding to the correct section.. Select Submit to Old Mutual International to submit the application directly to OMI or Submit to Client to send the application through to the clients online account for them to sign in securely and approve the top up application. 8

19 SUBMIT THE APPLICATION TO OLD MUTUAL INTERNATIONAL Copies of documentary evidence are requested on this page. These should be certified by the assigned adviser or other suitable certifier.. Select Upload signed fee schedule to find and select the copy of the document.. Alternatively, if you have not yet retrieved a signed fee schedule, select submit to client.. Check the box confirming that the documentation uploaded is correct and valid. 4. Select Submit application. 4 9

20 REVIEW THE APPLICATION After submission, you will be taken back to the client s record.. The application status is shown as Awaiting OMI approval. Select it to review the details. What happens next? Please arrange for the lump sum payment(s) to be sent to us. The documentation will be checked by our back office team and the status of the application will be changed to Awaiting payment. Once the payment has been received and matched to the account, the account will be live and trades placed. Policy documentation will be generated two working days after this, and will be available for you to view in the client s record, in the Documents tab (). 0
