1 HW-2 Coverage Worksheet Wind-Only Homeowners This document is for information purposes only to provide a quick reference guide. This information does not confer any rights upon you and does not alter, amend, change or negate the coverage set forth in the actual policy form. Your rights and responsibilities are specifically set forth in your actual policy form. Please refer to your actual policy form, or contact your agent if you have questions about your coverage. Coverage Type Standard Coverages Coverage A: Dwelling (Primary Structure) Covered Causes of Loss Wind and Hail Loss Settlement (Replacement Cost or Actual Cash Value) Replacement Cost Minimum Coverage A (Coverage for the dwelling) Minimum of $25,000. te: If the dwelling is insured at less than 80% of its replacement cost, a coinsurance penalty may apply. Maximum Coverage A Maximum Coverage B: Other Structures (Buildings or structures that are not the Primary Structure) Covered Causes of Loss Wind and Hail Loss Settlement Coverage Amount Replacement cost on buildings, Actual Cash Value on structures that are not buildings. 2% of Coverage A Yes. May be increased to 5% or 10% of Coverage A. Coverage can also be excluded. (03/17) NAIC# 1
2 Coverage A and B note Pool coverage Structures such as aluminum framed screened enclosures, screen pool cages or similar structures enclosed by screens on more than one side, constructed to be open to the weather are not covered. Any structure that has a roof, exterior wall, or covering of thatch, grass, palm, lattice, slats, or similar material is not covered. In-ground pools that adjoin or abut the dwelling and are not separated from the dwelling by clear space are covered under Coverage A. In-ground pools that are separated from the dwelling by clear space are covered under Coverage B. Above-ground pools are covered as personal property, Coverage C. Yes, maximum Coverage A, B, and C limits apply. Coverage A, B and D: Special Limits Cosmetic and Aesthetic Damage to Floors Coverage C: Personal Property Covered Causes of Loss Wind and Hail Loss Settlement (Replacement Cost or Actual Cash Value) Coverage Amount Actual Cash Value Yes. Replacement Cost coverage is available. 25% of Coverage A Yes. 50% of Coverage A is available. If the amount for debris removal to be paid for the actual damage to the property plus the debris removal expense is more than the limit of liability for the damaged property, an additional 5% of that limit s available for such expense.
