1 Payments Solutions in payments automation 1 of 6
2 Are you looking for a flexible, cost-effective online solution to streamline your payment processes? Payments offers you a simple, convenient and cost-effective way to make regular payments via the Internet. Payments is accessible from most web-enabled PCs making payments management portable and flexible. The service s dynamic and intuitive interface guides you through the payment creation process enabling you to submit Straight Through Payments (STP) that will require no intervention by us. These are charged at a reduced cost when compared to the standard tariff for non-stp transactions. Our payment specialists can help your organisation cut costs, save time and deploy staff more productively. To make sure we deliver in the way that s right for you, our experienced specialists will focus on your individual requirements. They will help to identify the appropriate products and services for you, and to manage them in a way that meets your organisation s needs. Our regional office network makes us easily accessible and, as you would expect, we are completely integrated with the national and global banking networks. Increased security and control over your payment processing You control access to and monitor the use of all payment actions through the service administrator function. Depending on your organisation s requirements, administration may be controlled either by one or a number of individuals. Customer preferences, user permissions and security settings allow you to assign access as appropriate within your organisation. Bespoke roles are created by you from a large range of permission combinations and may be modified on an individual basis, as appropriate to your organisational and staff needs. Authentication of transactions is achieved through our mobile Authenticator Card and reader which are designed to provide a high level of security. Authenticator Cards are unique and are assigned by your service administrator to each authorised user. Sole or dual control can be facilitated for payment submissions which can be varied according to the security requirements of your organisation. Efficiency and cost savings Intuitive and dynamic, Payments advises you of errors as you input data before the payment is submitted. This enables you to process transactions quickly and at a reduced cost by passing straight through the payment process without any amendments by us Straight Through Processing (STP). To assist with STP routing, Payments has the facility to look up BIC (Bank Identifier Code) and IBAN (International Bank Account Number) details. Use of new technology results in a highly efficient product that meets the needs of an extremely demanding payments market. Payments also provides functionality that is extensive, intuitive and fully flexible, providing the scope to meet your organisation s individual needs. Maintenance time and costs are low because we host the software. You do not have to install upgrades as they are done immediately and centrally by us. Cost-effective as savings can be made on postage, paperwork and stationery. 2 of 6
3 Convenience and flexibility Accessible from most web-enabled PCs, Payments ensures maximum mobility for payments processing, giving you flexibility and the reassurance that it can be accessed from your contingency site very easily. Provides you with the ability to import files in a variety of formats from your organisation s accounting system, minimising errors associated with manual entry. Payment Status Messages enable faster payment confirmation, which is vital for tracking important payments. With additional Authenticator Cards provided to your service administrator, the risk of disruption from card loss is reduced. Features Validation of payment data to verify that it meets STP standards. Ability to differentiate between STP and non-stp payments and charge accordingly. Payments that are processed straight through, without any intervention by us, will be charged at a reduced cost when compared to the standard tariff. Facility to search for or validate BIC and IBAN details to assist with payment routing. Easy to use with only one password and PIN to remember.
