TEL 0033 (0) French Business registration Monsieur George Thain RENTAL CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS For the purpose of this contract you & yours means all persons named in the party and We, us, our & owners means Donna & George Thain, Proprietors. The property named below is offered for holiday rental. GITE RENTED ARRIVAL - After 4pm local time. DEPARTURE- Before 10am local time (arrival and departure times as above unless by prior arrangement with the owner) CANCELLATION BY YOU As per Homeaway booking USE OF PROPERTY GROUNDS AND FACILITIES only the persons named on this contract may use the property, grounds and facilities unless prior permission has been given by the owners. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1/ You must keep the property, furniture, and fittings the same state of repair & condition as at the commencement of the rental period. 2/On departure the property must be in a clean and generally tidy order. Should you or the owners feel that more than a normal level of cleaning will be required at the end of your stay this will be charged at 35 Euros per gite. 3/You will be responsible for payment for any breakages, loss or damage to property, fixtures and equipment caused by you ( we recommend that you take out insurance to cover this) If you have paid a damages deposit this does not limit the sum of your liability and if the value of the deposit is less than the sum of any damages you will be liable to pay the difference. ACCESS We shall be allowed access to inspect the property prior to departure and have the right to access during your stay to carry out maintenance and in the event of any problems arising. SWIMMING POOL AND GROUNDS THE POOL IS OPEN FOR THE SUMMER SEASON ONLY opens 1 st June closes end September. The pool will not be available for use outside of these dates. SWIMMING POOLS CARRY DANGEROUS RISKS. Pool safety is of the utmost importance. You and your party agree to take full responsibility of all members of your

2 party and your behaviour in and use of the pool will be in such a manner as to protect the safety of others. Children using the pool or in the pool area must be supervised by an adult at all times. NO DIVING IN THE POOL No glass or china to be used in the pool or pool area. The pool must be left secured after use. We cannot be responsible for low water temperatures at any period. GROUNDS Young children must not be allowed to wander unaccompanied in the grounds of the property. Guests will respect the grounds, gardens, and furniture and fixtures in the grounds and adhere to any prohibitive or restrictive signs placed in or on any areas or items. Guests will not walk over or climb on boarders, flower or vegetable beds, walls, or the old bread oven. SANITATION AND REFUSE The property, as with most of rural France, is not served by mains drainage and an Eco friendly fosse is in operation. It is important that only French toilet paper is used (paper produced for the British market cannot be broken down by the system.) and no sanitary, baby items,wipes and other items be flushed down the toilet. If it is found that such products have been flushed and block the system you will be asked to cover costs of correction / damages. You are responsible for hygienic management and disposal of your refuse (disposal details will be advised in the gite manual). NOISE AND BEHAVIOUR You are expected to behave in a decent respectful manner to other guests and the owners at all times. Noise should be kept to a reasonable level that is not intrusive to other guests or the owners. WE REQUEST NO OUTSIDE NOISE AFTER 10PM. SECURITY AND VALUABLES Valuables are left at the property or in the grounds at your own risk. Although this is a very low crime area proper care must be taken against theft and burglary. It is your responsibility to ensure doors and windows are secured when leaving the property. PETS Pets are only accepted if agreed by the owners prior to booking. SMOKING We operate a NO SMOKING / NO VAPING policy inside the gites.

3 LINEN Linen and towels for in Gite use are included in your rental and will automatically be changed once a week where more than one week has been booked. If you require more frequent changes there will be an additional charge. Gite towels are not to be used in the pool /garden area or removed from the property. Pool /beach towels are not provided but can be hired at a cost of 2 euros per towel per stay. OUR LIABILITY We cannot be held responsible for noise or disturbance originating beyond the boundaries of the property or which are beyond our control. We cannot be held responsible for the breakdown of any mechanical equipment such as pumps, boilers, nor the failure of public utilities. We cannot be accept responsibility for events beyond our control, e.g. bad weather, delay caused by carrier company. We cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage to you personally, your belongings or your vehicles when using the property, grounds, equipment or amenities the use of which is entirely at your own risk. CLEANING On departure the gite must be left in a clean and tidy condition. If we feel that excessive cleaning will be required or the gite acceptable condition a charge of 35 Euros per gite will be made for cleaning services. PARKING Parking is not permitted in the courtyard (except for loading / unloading) or gardens.on arrival you will be allocated parking on the property forecourt. Should any of the above terms and conditions be broken we may use our absolute discretion to terminate your holiday and ask you to leave the property without prior notice, refund, or payment of your expenses or costs. THE UNDERSIGNED ACCEPTS THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. ALL PERSONS IN THE PARTY.OVER THE AGE OF 15 MUST ADD THEIR FULL NAMES, SIGNATURE, DATE AND PLACE OF BIRTH, ADDRESS and IN BLOCK CAPITALS..UNDER THE AGE OF 15 names and details must be added and signed for by the parent or guardian. This is to comply with French regulations that require us to complete a Fiche Individuelle de Police for each non French resident. This information will be stored by us for 6 months and will only be viewed by the Police in the unlikely event that it should it be requested, it will not be shared by us with any others.
