1 23rd Annual Advanced ALI-ABA Conference on Life Insurance Company Products Featuring Current Securities, Tax, ERISA, and State Regulatory and Compliance Issues Thursday-Friday, November 3-4, 2005 (Grand Hyatt) WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND This annual advanced two-day Conference, comprising more than 12 hours of instruction, is designed for professionals who deal with life insurance and annuity products and their related mutual fund investments, whether as a private practitioner, an in-house corporate counsel, or a compliance officer of an insurance company, investment adviser, broker-dealer, mutual fund organization, or bank. It is a concentrated course of study on applicable federal and state securities and insurance laws and regulations, as well as related tax and ERISA matters. A faculty of practicing lawyers, compliance officers, and representatives of government agencies and self-regulatory organizations examine significant recent developments as they relate to fixed and separate account products of life insurance companies as well as to underlying mutual fund investments. Recent disclosure and regulatory developments affecting new types of products, the distribution and sales of life insurance products, and the significant recent changes in the tax, regulatory, and enforcement climate are reviewed by experts in the field. This Conference is valuable to anyone involved in the development, marketing, or administration of life insurance company products, or in the compliance process for offering and administering these products.
