3 Mission Statement Pathway of Hope is an approach that provides targeted services to families with a desire to take action to break the cycle of crises and enable a path out of intergenerational poverty. The Core Elements of Pathway of Hope are as follows: Provide targeted services to families with a desire to take action, changing life trajectories and increasing hope. Bring all the Army s internal resources to bear, aligning them to the needs of clients and focused on outcomes. Catalyze community collaboration in service of shared clients

6 Approach Pathway of Hope is grounded in The Army s material assistance services, and uses external community resources is a strengths-based case management that links clients with resources empowers families with hope to address their barriers to reach stability addresses intergenerational poverty by focusing on families with children utilizes codified training, processes and tools to support learning, implementation, fidelity, and scalability 4.
