16 Status Reports - Resolution No. G11-18 Blue Crest Energy - SOT Under a cost sharing agreement with BlueCrest, AIDEA completed Pre Feasibility Studies related to the potential oil and gas development from the Cosmopolitan leases. Three primary studies were completed that provided the foundation for AIDEA s potential investment in the development. These included: (1) Technical/Financial Review of BlueCrest, (2) Engineering and Project Cost/Schedule Review, and (3) Geological and Oil/Gas Reserves Analysis. These studies are complete and were used as a portion of the due diligence activities for the direct project financing loan that AIDEA authorized under Board Resolution G These studies may also provide information for other future investments. Under terms of the loan agreement, a partial reimbursement of AIDEA's cost sharing agreement expenditures was provided. Seward Marine Industrial Center - SMIC Under a cost sharing agreement with the City of Seward, AIDEA contracted with Arcadis to create a Business Plan for the development of the Seward Marine Industrial Center (SMIC). AIDEA initially contributed $75k with an additional $12k; the City of Seward contributed a total of $162k. Arcadis conducted interviews with current and potential stakeholders to understand the needs and opportunities for the uplands area of the SMIC. Arcadis organized a work session for stakeholders to discuss potential plans for the industrial area which was held in January The final business plan will be delivered in October The SMIC development may result in potential future investment opportunities for AIDEA.
