Although we are not required to impose Spanish withholding tax on Options 1 or 2, under Spanish tax law any cash you receive in respect of the sale of rights or an entitlement to a fraction of a share may create a Spanish tax reporting obligation for you under these two options. You should read the Taxation section in the Scrip Dividend Scheme Information Booklet available from in the Dividends section before deciding which option you wish to have applied. 5 Guidance Notes Details of ALL shareholders MUST be provided including joint shareholders even if a legal representative is signing on their behalf. Additional legal representatives must provide their details in a cover letter to accompany the completed form (including NCI and LEI details as required). IMPORTANT: Client s/legal Entity s (Mandatory) In order for your instruction to be processed, we are required to ask for your Client (if signing as a private individual) or Legal Entity (if signing on behalf of a company, trust or charity etc). For example if you are solely a UK citizen, please enter your UK Insurance in the Primary NCI for Country (1).
