1 Dear Customer, Your satisfaction is the most important value for us, for which reason we continuously improve our products and services and simplify the processes of administration to make them faster and more comfortable. In addition to maintaining personal customer relationship our objective is to continuously provide you with new digital banking solutions. As we previously informed you our Bank will switch over from the current IT system to the utilisation of a state-of-the-art system (hereinafter referred to as: Switch-over ). As a result of the developments we have renewed our products by which we can provide significantly faster and more efficient service. Following over two years of intensive work, during the last days of June and the first days of July - by the go-live of our renewed IT system - MKB Bank will take a fundamental step towards becoming the most developed digital bank of Hungary. The Switch-over to the new system is expected to take place between 30 June and 4 July 2018, during which period access to our services will be limited. You will be informed of the precise date of the Switch-over 15 days prior to the Switch-over in two national daily papers and on website by Announcement. Some services will cease or be transformed as a result of the Switch-over and these changes will necessitate the amendment of the service contracts concluded with you. The changes previously announced in the Business Rules on Account Keeping, Deposit Collection and Related Services and in the Lists of Terms and Conditions will become effective on the first business day following the Switch-over period. Please find the summary of key information with respect to the Switch-over period in this notice. Please be informed that project related key information are also available on the website. In addition to full information we also help yous with recommendations. You can also receive information at our branches and you can phone our customer service free of charge on or on from abroad. Rest assured that we do everything in our power to cause the least inconvenience during the brief period in which the procedures will differ from the usual. Please read this notice carefully to become familiar with all information related to the Switch-over. 2 Second day preceding the Switch-over (expectedly 28 June 2018) Prior to the Switch-over the last orders for funds managed by OTP Alapkezelő Zrt. traded by the Bank can be given on 28 June Day preceding the Switch-over (expectedly 29 June 2018) Branch business hours On the day preceding the Switch-over our branches will serve our customers uniformly until 15:00 hours. Performance deadlines The cut-off time for receiving payment orders to be processed on the transaction date will not change, it will be according to the effective list of terms and conditions. Payment orders received after the cut-off time will be deemed as received on the following business day by the Bank and they will be performed after the Switch-over period in line with our previous notice and the rules effective after the Switch-over. Please visit the continuously updated website to receive information on cut-off times and performance deadlines. Electronic channels The MKB Netbanker, MKB TeleBanker and MKB Mobilebank applications will be available to enquire transactions or submit orders until 17:45 on the day preceding the Switch-over. After this MKB NetBANKer and MKB Mobile application will not be available. Switch-over period (expectedly 30 June - 4 July 2018) During the Switch-over the background systems ensuring the operation of the Bank will not run, for which reason banking will not be possible between 30 June and 4 July Available services During the Switch-over period our customers can only utilise their bankcards and the downloaded, installed MKB Mobilebank (MKB Pay) application for shopping and cash withdrawal only. Registration in the MKB Mobilebank application will not be active during the Switch-over period. Neither our branches nor our electronic channels (MKB NetBANKer and MKB Mobilebank application) will be available and we will limit our reinforced telephone customer service to providing information and initiating bankcard stops, for which reason we ask our customers without bankcard to withdraw sufficient cash previously, and our customers with bankcard to provide sufficient coverage on the bank account serving as coverage account for the bankcard and to make sure that the related limits are set appropriately. During the Switch-over period neither transfer (book transfer) between own accounts nor limit amendment will be possible. As coverage of bankcard utilisation we will consider the closing balance of the bank account serving as coverage account on the last business day preceding the Switch-over. We will not manage either incoming or outgoing cash flow during the Switch-over period, we will only perform the settlement of due term deposit related balance sheet dates and expiries,
3 repayments related to loans extended applying the annuity repayment instalment calculation method. In the case of insufficient funds we will credit the default interests due and debited during the Switch-over period. In the case of non-annuity loans the due date will be the first bank business day following the Switch-over. The incoming and outgoing items dated for the Switch-over period will be processed and settled on the first bank business day following the Switch-over. Transactions of the Switch-over period will be included in the statement generated in the period following the Switch-over. Exchange rates will not be quoted during the Switch-over period, during which we will apply the exchange rate effective on the day preceding the Switch-over. Exchange rates will be quoted first on the first business day following the Switch-over. MobileBANKer service In line with their contracts for MobileBANKer service our customers could request the following types of messages: Message about account debit Message about account credit Message about the account balance dropping under the specified limit Message about the expiry of term deposit Message about loan repayment Cash withdrawal with bankcard Purchase with bankcard We will continue to send text messages during the Switchover period, however only in connection with bankcard utilisation. Should our customer have NetBANKer service, utilise MKB Mobilebank application and opted for push message sending until the period of the unavailability of the MKB Mobilebank application, instead of push messages the notifications will be sent in free-of-charge text messages. Taking into account that the closing balance of the last business day preceding the Switch-over will be considered as the coverage of bankcard utilisation, the balance reported in the text messages will be for information only, it will show the amount of the closing balance on the day preceding the Switch-over amended by the card transactions. Securities products and transactions, Treasury products During the Switch-over period the Bank will not accept orders for securities products and transactions and Treasury products. Acceptance of orders for investment services will be suspended on every channel (via branch, telephone and electronically, too). In the case of automatic orders accepted within the framework of regular savings services, the transaction date of which is during the Switch-over period the Bank will manage and perform the transaction as order accepted on the first bank business day following the Switch-over. The settlement of orders accepted prior to the Switch-over period, the settlement date of which is during the Switch-over period will be settled on the settlement date belonging to the order, however our customers can dispose over the counter value on the first bank business day following the Switch-over only.
4 Customer orders forwarded to the Budapest Stock Exchange or to foreign stock exchanges (stock exchange orders) cannot be amended and withdrawn during the Switch-over period, they can be performed during the Switch-over period, too. Yields of securities due during the Switch-over period (expiry amount, interest, etc.) will be credited on the first bank business day following the Switch-over. With respect to the open-end investment funds managed by MKB Pannónia Alapkezelő Zrt. the days of the Switch-over period will not be considered as either order acceptance days or settlement days. Period following the Switch-over (expectedly beginning on 5 July 2018) Our branches will receive our customers in the usual business hours. Electronic channels Access to MKB Netbanker and TeleBANKer service will be granted, transactions can be enquired and orders can be submitted from 07:00 hours on the first business day following the Switchover. The MKB Mobilebank application will be available from the third day following the Switch-over. Digital document management In addition to applying innovative banking solutions and taking environment protection issues into account one of our objectives is to become a paper-free bank with the modernisation of document management. We will send the digitally authentic contracts to our customers primarily via the NetBANKer service and we will print them at expressed request only. These documents will become accessible using the Account review/account statements, documents menu point of the NetBANKer service, filtered for already used Notices, Credit Notices, Annexes and Contracts types which are appropriate for the document. Fee debits According to the current procedure during the month preceding the Switch over the fee item generated for the payment of the transaction duty will be debited by the Bank on the Friday following the 20th day of the transaction month. If there are no sufficient funds for the fee debit a negative balance will be generated, for which reason we ask you to provide sufficient coverage. Discontinued services We are repeatedly calling your kind attention to the fact that in harmony with our previous notification the following order types will be discontinued after the Switch-over, they will be rejected during the period following the Switch-over: payment orders submitted with BEN (every cost is borne by the beneficiary) cost bearing option, foreign currency payment orders including three different currency types,
5 standing type VIBER and standing type HUF payment transfers towards a foreign country, the automatic fill-up of bank account balances can only be performed on bank business days and with daily frequency, any order differing from this, term deposit placement orders submitted prior to the Switch-over period but for value dates following the Switch-over, special rate agreement for large transaction amounts and Treasury / forward rate agreement requested via NetBANKer service. Term deposit placement In harmony with our previous notification the value dated, i.e. forward dated term deposit placement orders will cease. We are calling your kind attention to the fact that following the Switchover day new value dated term deposit placement orders cannot be submitted. We will reject such types of orders submitted earlier. Please resubmit your order on the value date again. From the day of the Switch-over we will not accept term deposit placement orders via the NetBANKer service. We will send separate information on the date, when the service will become available again. Signature announcement After the day of the Switch-over the Customer will report persons with right of disposal over its bank account (hereinafter referred to as: disposer) in the Declaration about disposers document, while the signature of the disposer will be provided by the disposer him/herself. The disposer will be entitled to amend his/her own signature even without the consent of the account holder. After the Switch-over day the Bank will keep one Specimen Signature per natural person in its systems. If until the Switch-over day our Customer does not provide a new Specimen Signature, the Bank will keep the last Specimen Signature provided by these persons as the only one Specimen Signature after the Switch-over day.
