4 Overview The Annual Report Download is a comprehensive set of reports and data files to complete annual compliance testing and Form Files are compressed in a single WinZip file. The files will begin running in early January. The WinZip file will be available via the My Reports section of PartnerLink. (Each user at the TPA will receive an and have access to the WinZip file.) Enter into any plan, select the reports tab and select My Reports. The report will remain for up to 90 days. Report name is the plan number.zip ( zip). The 2 previous plan year zip files can be ordered on demand from the Participant/Employee Data section of the Reports Tab. 8 Annual Plan Summary This is a PDF of the Certified Annual Plan Summary provided to the plan sponsor. It provides plan level and participant level detail. Participant Summary by Investment Option A summary of participant activity reported by fund, in dollars and units/shares. Fair Value Measurements for FASB ASC 820 A summary of investment-related information to assist in meeting the FASB ASC 820 reporting requirements (applicable only to large plan Form 5500 filers). Participant Summary by Investment Option and Money Source A summary of participant activity reported by money source and fund, in dollars and units/shares. 12 Annual Plan Summary Supplemental Reports Realized and Unrealized Gains/(Losses) A summary of the realized and unrealized gains and/or losses, reported by fund and based upon the market value at the beginning of the period. Assets Acquired and Disposed of in the Plan Year Reports applicable investment assets that were both acquired and disposed of within the plan year. Part of the Assets Held reporting requirement for Schedule H, 4i. Assets Held for Investment Purposes Reports investment assets held by the plan on the last day of the plan year. Required information if Schedule H, 4i has been answered as yes. Transactions for Review (5% Reportable) Reports all transactions to assist in determining reportable transactions. Note: current 5500 filing instructions do not require this information for certain participant directed transactions. Information for Completing Form 5500 Schedule A, C and D Provides information required to complete the Schedule A, C and D for the Form Information for Completing Form 8955-SSA Provides information to complete Form 8955-SSA that is required to be filed with the IRS. 12 FOR ADVISOR AND TPA USE ONLY. 14 Participant Account Summary Data Files The Participant Account Summary details the financial activity of all participants for the plan year. File detail is on a participant basis separated by each applicable money type. Includes beginning balance, contributions, loan repayments, gains/losses, interest earned, new loans taken, distributions, forfeitures, fees and ending balance. Also included is comprehensive loan information by loan by money type. Multiple formats are available for import into administration systems. Excel and CSV (Import File) Accrual and cash basis The Participant Account Summary File can be ordered on demand in the Participant/Employee Section of the Reports Tab. 19 FAQs Q: What is the difference between the Withdrawal Charge and the Fees Columns in the Withdrawal section of the Annual Plan Summary? A: The Withdrawal Charge column will reflect any loan or distribution fees charged by Empower or the TPA that are automated. The Fees column will reflect any overnight mailing charges applicable to a distribution request. Q: How is the Plan Expense Account (PEA) Reported on the Annual Plan Summary? A: Activity for the PEA can be found in the Forfeiture/Asset Holding Account section of the Annual Plan Summary. Deposits will reflect the amount Empower has contracted with the plan to fund the PEA. Payments reflect the plan s election to pay a third party as a qualified plan expense. In addition, PEA payments to third parties will be reflected as direct compensation on the Schedule C. Q: Where can I find descriptions of the Money Sources? A: The full listing of Money Sources can be found under the Plan/Overview/Plan Provisions TAB on PartnerLink. In addition, a listing of the Money Sources with activity for the reporting period can be found at the bottom of the Withdrawal section of the Annual Plan Summary. Q: How do I determine what the total Employer contribution and total Employee contribution totals are for 5500 purposes? A: Refer to the CONTRIBUTIONS/DEPOSITS section of the Annual Plan Summary. 23 Trade Agent Setup Access Utilities>Trade Agent/Custodian Update Creating trade agent allow user to filters plans by vendor Specific reserved name must be entered on trade agent

24 Investment Setup Investment table is global, applies to all plans Recommend setting up cash investment if electing to import into one fund If not importing into one fund, all of the vendors funds must be added to the investment table and plan. Fund id must match the vendors fund id.

31 Plan Specifications Loan Accounts If the Loan source is added to the plan, the allocated link will look first for a Loan Account which contains the Loan source and Loan investment If the Loan source is added to plan, the vested balance on the loan balance will be zero. Vesting using the loan source is obtained from the loan module
