Up to 5 years of double income if your clients can t perform two ADLs. 1 2x 2x 2x 2x 2x Once the benefit ends, regular lifetime income continues. Getting care can be expensive and could derail income planning. Prior to activating the benefit, a Deferral Bonus will not be credited in years where a withdrawal occurs. After activation, a bonus will not be credited in years where withdrawals exceed the Lifetime Annual Payment (LAP). No bonus will be credited after the Income Phase Bonus Period. 21 CHOICE ACCUMULATION II How the teamwork between growth potential and downside market protection works Fixed Index Annuities lock in any positive gains after every crediting period. If the index the crediting strategy is linked to has a negative performance for any crediting period, your clients simply receive zero interest credits for that strategy term. 22 THE PLAY-BY-PLAY How the NEW Enhanced Death Benefit works CHOICE ACCUMULATION II The optional Enhanced Death Benefit (EDB) helps your clients build a legacy that s guaranteed. Initially, like the contract value, the EDB figure is equal to the original Choice Accumulation premium. But the EDB grows by a guaranteed 7% every year for up to 15 years reduced by any withdrawals. 1 7% for 15 years After your client passes, the beneficiary gets either the EDB or the contract value as a death benefit whichever is greater. Year Enhanced Death Benefit Contract Value Guarantees are based on the claims-paying ability of Forethought Life Insurance Company and assume compliance with the product s benefit rules, as applicable. 1 The optional Enhanced Death Benefit is available at an annual cost of 0.50%, assessed at the end of the contract year, based off of the Enhanced Death Benefit amount.
