5 What's Happening With Your Plan(s)? 2018 DST Plan 2019 DST Employees will continue to participate in the DST Plan until 12/31/18 Effective 1/1/2019, the DST Plan participants can begin contributing to the SS&C Plan Individual participant balances will remain in the DST Plan, until a participant has a distributable event, i.e. separation from service, retirement, or attainment of age 59 ½ SS&C Plan All former DST employees will be eligible to participate in the SS&C Plan, effective on 1/1/19 Participants will be automatically defaulted in the an age-appropriate target date fund, unless they make an affirmative election to other investment option(s) Participant deferral percentages will not carry over from DST to SS&C Page 5 of 18
6 SS&C Technologies 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Basics Employee Contributions: Employees may make pre-tax contributions of 1% to 50%, max of $18,500 (2018) Roth (after-tax) contributions available Age 50 and older Catch-Up Contributions: Additional employee contribution of up to $6,000 (2018) Plan allows you to borrow from your savings (A fee may apply) Minimum amount of $1,000 (max of 2 loans outstanding at one time) Maximum of 50% of vested account balance or $50,000, whichever is less Page 6 of 18

8 Loan Provisions DST Existing loans remain active on the plan and will continue the existing repayment schedule New loans will have the following provisions: 50% of vested balance up to $50,000 DST and SS&C plan assets will be aggregated for purposes of calculating max loan amount Loan repayment schedule in accordance with plan document Page 8 of 18

17 Action Items Open enrollment window from December 1 st December 30 th allowing participants to enroll in the SS&C Retirement Plan Participants must elect their deferral percentage and investment selections If an election is not made during the open window, participants will be auto-enrolled and placed into the plan's default investment alternative (target date fund) Beneficiary information will not carry over into the SS&C Plan and must be added Existing loans will remain active on the DST plan, new loans maximums will be based off both plan balances Contribution changes transpire on the first of the month following the month changes are entered Page 17 of 20
