When the volatility is high and the price has gone up, it sells. Similarly, when the volatility is high and the price has gone down, it buys. It uses the same conditions for closing the positions, thus the EA is almost always in play.

2 About the developer I started trading stocks and options around 7 years ago. I switched to Forex around 3 years ago. Honestly, I am not a programmer. I don't know any computer language!! I started to become interested in EAs when I saw an ad for one of those commercial EAs and I wondered how this thing worked. I began to read the MQL4 forums and looked at the various sample EAs that are there. I taught myself the MQL4 language by reading the documentation. Slowly I began to develop my own robots, first using some websites that provide user-friendly guides and generic templates. I decided to participate in the FRWC because I have so many EAs lying around in my computer and I thought I might earn some money if one of them would at least win me a prize. Broker Choice SuperVolcano was developed for brokers with a GMT Offset of +1 so use it with brokers having that GMT offset wherever possible (i.e. FXCM, IamFX, Alpari) for better results. How to install this robot Simply attach the EA to a GBPJPY M1 chart and adjust the settings.

3 Robot Settings PlimusRefNr this is your Plimus Reference Number from your purchase receipt and is required to activate the EA. For your convenience, we display your Plimus Reference Number within the FRWC member area when you log in to your account AutoGmtOffset when set to True, the EA automatically detects the GMT offset during normal trading. This feature does not work during back-testing. Magic Number this allows the EA to identify its own trades if you are using several EAs and/or manual strategies on one account EachTickMode if True, it checks for a signal as each price tick is received. Leave set to True Lots defines the fixed lot size for each trade when Money Management is not used. Our opinion is that a lot size equal to 0.05 for each $1,000 of available equity is reasonable. Due to limitations of the MT4 strategy tester, all back-tests on the M1 timeframe are limited to just 25% modeling quality. This is why SuperVolcano back-tests are not representative of its live trading abilities. As the FRWC contest has proven, SuperVolcano works much better in live trading than during the back-test.
