This forum provides an opportunity for the Australian and Zimbabwean diaspora investors to meet with Zimbabwean government representatives and captains of industry to discuss investment opportunities in Zimbabwe. His Excellency, the Zimbabwean Ambassador to Australia and other senior government officials will showcase the Zimbabwean government's agenda for economic revival through foreign investment. The speakers will share investment perspectives across a range of industries including mining, drawing from their current and recent large scale investment experience in Zimbabwe.

Winston Chitando Minister for Mines and Mining Development He was appointed to the portfolio in November Prior to his appointment he held senior executive roles in some of the most successful mining companies in Zimbabwe for a period spanning nearly three decades. Isaac Kwesu CEO - Chamber of Mines Zimbabwe (CoMZ) Isaac is the CEO of the CoMZ. Prior to his appointment he was the Chamber s Chief Economist. He joined the CoMZ after highly successful tenures as Head of Strategy at MMC Capital and Premier Finance Group (now Ecobank Zimbabwe). He was instrumental in shaping the CoMZ's research and policy analysis division. He has provided substantial input in the Zimbabwe mining industry's debate on the Indigenisation and the current mining policy.

5 S P E A K E R P R O F I L E S Batirai Manhando President, Chamber of Mines Zimbabwe (CoMZ) Batirai has been the Managing Director at Bindura Nickel Corporation (BNC) since November He was appointed Group Chief Operating Officer of Asa Resource Group Plc (alternatively Mwana Africa Plc) and BNC in April Prior to these roles, Batirai served as Chief Technical Officer and Managing Director of BNC from October 2016 to April 2017 and Chief Operating Officer of BNC between 2008 and He has vast experience, in excess of 21 years, in business leadership, operations management, project management and systems development and implementation, acquired within the mining industry. A well rounded executive, he previously held senior positions within BNC smelters, refinery and concentrators where he led teams in the planning and execution of major projects including six-in-line furnace rebuilds and process upgrades. Batirai is a member of the Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM). He holds an MBA and a BSc (Hons) in Metallurgical Engineering

6 S P E A K E R P R O F I L E S Krista Bates Senior Consultant (Legal) and Non-Executive Director Krista is an experienced executive and non-executive director of listed (ASX and LSE) and private companies in multiple jurisdictions and recently joined Clifford Chance, Perth as a Senior Consultant. Krista has an exceptional legal background of nearly 20 years and excellent reputation (particularly for her work in sub-saharan Africa) as a corporate lawyer, advising clients on a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, takeovers, corporate governance, commercial contracts and general corporate advice. Krista has advised a diverse range of private and listed clients, and the majority of her transactional work has cross-border elements. Previously Head of Africa for a large global law firm, Krista lived and worked in Africa for over a decade helping clients invest throughout sub-saharan Africa.

7 S P E A K E R P R O F I L E S Sam Hosack Managing Director, Prospect Resources Limited (ASX:PSC) Sam is the Managing Director of Prospect Resources. Prospect Resources are a Perth based, ASX listed company currently developing one of Africa s largest Lithium mines in Zimbabwe. Sam is a third generation Zimbabwean, residing in Western Australia. He has hands on experience in the delivery of large scale mining, power and port projects, as well as their operations. His mining and operations experience spans multiple mining regions of North and Southern Africa, Europe, Australia and Central America. Sam holds a Bachelors Engineering Degree (Hons) from Essex University in UK, MBA from Ashcroft Business School (UK) and is a member of several professional bodies.

8 C O R P O R A T E P R O F I L E S Ministry of Mines Zimbabwe The Ministry of Mines Zimbabwe is instrumental in delivering the Government s agenda to extract value and develop a thriving mining industry in Zimbabwe. The Ministry's efforts are underpinned by the Zimbabwe economic recovery focus which is very clear on the role of mining sector in reviving the Zimbabwean economy. Chamber of Mines Zimbabwe The Chamber of Mines of Zimbabwe (COMZ) is a private sector voluntary organization established in 1939 by an Act of Parliament. The members include mining companies, suppliers of machinery, spare parts, and chemicals, service providers including banks, insurance companies, consulting engineers, and various mining related professional bodies and individuals. The mining company members of the COMZ produce about 90 percent of Zimbabwe's total mineral output.
