7 LAB & ASSAY The Republic Metals laboratory employs the most modern technology. Our chemists are among the very best; possessing over a century of combined chemistry experience. The lab is audited on an ongoing basis, using industry certified umpire laboratories. Our laboratory operations meet and exceed the highest standards set by the regulatory bodies that govern the industry today. Our lab facility provides in-house analysis for sweeps, low and high grade metallic samples, as well as providing on-site quality control analytics for our gold and silver refineries. Republic Metals continuously invests in research, development, and procurement of the best available analytical technology. ASTM methods are applied to all analytical procedures, using certified standards from independent laboratories. A corrected fire assay method is employed for gold and silver bullion analysis with the utilization of Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) Mass Spectrometry for corrections therein

We continually strive to reduce our environmental footprint by tapering energy use and virtually eliminating emissions from the refining process through the development of in-house proprietary technology. The refining technology we employ eliminates the need for pretreatment measures that involve dangerous chemical reactions.
