Modelling Tab Under Review The Modelling functionality is currently being enhanced with architectural design work being completed. This section of the guide will be updated in due course and may not be the most recent functionality available. For assistance in the interim, please contact MyCredo Support. Create Model Create Model allows the user to enter the details of the model portfolio they wish to build. Step 1 Create a Model Click Create Model to generate the setup screen. Description Model Name Model Description Company Currency Risk Profile Explanation Enter the name of the model portfolio. From the drop down menu, select the specific security by clicking on it. In the Pct field, enter the relevant weighting of the security for the model and click Add. 21

The charts on the right-hand side of this screen allows the user to view the model according to various allocations i.e. Asset Class, Currency, Issue Country, Risk Country, Industry Group, Sector and Security. These charts will adjust automatically as the user adds each new security. Step 4 Save the model Click Save Model Securities to save the model portfolio. The user will be able to view or edit the model portfolio under the View Models icon. Note: If the constituent weightings of the model securities do not total 100%, the model will save with a draft status. Thus, the user will not be able to balance to a model in draft status. There is no need to complete the creation of a model in one session, the user can revisit incomplete models at a later date (see View Models below). Once the model is updated so that the weighting total 100%, the status will update to active. Portfolios / accounts may only be rebalanced to active models. Step 5 Assign the model to a portfolio Once the model is created, it can be assigned to a portfolio in the Portfolio List. Select Model from the Field Picker on the portfolio list. From the drop down menu, select the preferred model. Press the Tab botton on your keyboard for the change to take affect. 25 Step 5 Select the tolerance category. The tolerance categories include Asset Class, Currency, Issue Country, Model, Sector, Security, and Security Type. Step 6 Select the tolerance value. The tolerance values available for selection will depend on the tolerance category chosen. Step 7 Enter the percentage to allocate for the Above Alert, Above Warn, Below Warn and Below Alert fields. Description Above Alert Above Warn Below Warn Below Alert Explanation % deviations in holdings above the allowed specified model % plus the Above Warn % plus the Above Alert % will be highlighted in red. % deviations in holdings above the allowed specified model % plus the Above Warn % but below the Above Alert % will be highlighted in orange. % deviations in holdings below the allowed specified model % less the Below Warn % but above the Below Alert % will be highlighted in orange. % deviations in holdings below the allowed specified model % less the Below Warn % less the Below Alert % will be highlighted in red. Once completed click Save Tolerances, the tolerences selected pull through to the Heat Map. 25

Heat Map The Heat Map depicts each portfolio against its assigned model and tolerances. The initial view shows if the overall portfolio is in line with the model tolerance levels (green drift status) or breaching tolerances (orange or red drift status). When selecting a particular portfolio, a more detailed bar graph is generated, comparing the specified portfolio against the model portfolio. The colour of the bar indicates if each category is within the model s assigned tolerance levels. The black line within the bar indicates the target weighting per the assigned model and the smaller white bar within the main bar indicates the actual weighting. Heat maps can be viewed by Asset Class, Sector, Industry Group, Currency, Security Type and Issue Country. Note: The default tolerance level is defined in Settings (refer to File Tab). If no model tolerance is set the default tolerance will apply. MyCredo also allows the user to view each portfolio s drift scores on a chart. The system generates a scatter diagram of all the user s portfolios drift analysis scores versus their market value. This will allow the user to see if there are any outliers that need specific or immediate attention. 26

Balance Portfolio Balance Portfolio allows the balancing of an entire portfolio or a specific cash portion of a portfolio against a selected model. Click Balance Portfolio to open the balance portfolio screen and complete the relevant information. Description Select Portfolio Select Model Use Portfolio Model Explanation Select the portfolio to balance. Select the model the portfolio should be balanced against. If this box is ticked, then the portfolio will be balanced against the assigned model portfolio allocated to the portfolio from the Portfolio screen. A model can be assigned to a portfolio from the drop-down menu. Trade Mandate Balance Options: - Distribute Cash - Use Pre-allocated Positions - Use Real time Prices Balance Cash Amount Type of account i.e. discretionary, execution only, advisory managed or dealing. Note: This will automatically update once the specific portfolio is selected. Should deviation of the model result in residual cash, said cash will be redistributed in accordance with the model, such that the final allocations may end up being slightly overweight. Accounts for any trades that are still in the system but have not been settled yet. Note: The box will be automatically ticked, so that the modelling session takes into account any trades that are sitting with our dealers but have not been executed yet. Selecting this option will utilise the most up to date pricing of assets available. Note: The box will be automatically ticked, un-ticking this option will utilise no more recent than the close of previous business day pricing. If the box is ticked, then the modelling tool will rebalance the assigned cash amount only, ideally suited for tranched investments. Reason for Dealing Talk to me A mandatory field and requires a motivation for the trade. This field allows the user to add additional comments to the dealing desk 27

Note: The system generates a bar graph comparing the actual portfolio to the model s target holdings and a pie chart showing the model s target holdings. This view can be based on either Asset Class, Sector, Industry Group, Currency or Security Type. Once the user is satisfied with the selection, click Balance Model. Note: The Balance Model button only becomes active once all the necessary fields are completed. Once the user has selected the Balance Model option, the modelling tool generates the proposed trades in order for the portfolio to be in line with the chosen model. A review screen becomes available for review and potential adjustment. The schreenshot below depicts the default screen layout for the modelling session, if the user would like to add / remove columns from this view, they can do so using the Field Picker located at the top right hand side of the screen. In the Security Description column, securities in orange are not currently held in the portfolio. These securities are proposed in order to balance the portfolio to the model. Securities in black are currently held in the portfolio and are proposed to be adjusted in line with the model. The red box next to the assest (red highligted column) indicates a pre-allocated position. This is not affected by whether the user has selected the modelling tool to take such positions into account or not. This is a nonoverridable restriction. 28

An amber box indicates an overridable restriction (green highlighted column). To override an (amber) restriction, right-click on the orange box and select View Restrictions, enter the reason for overriding in the Override Reason box that appears. If there are restrictions, overridable or otherwise, no trades will be proposed for that security. Once a restriction has been overridden, click on the Rebalance button to include the previously restricted stocks. Once a reason has been entered, the restriction box turns green and the modelling session can proceed. Alternatively, all overridable restrictions can be viewed by selecting the View Overridable Restrictions at the bottom of the screen. Once satisfied with the suggested trades, the user can click on Preview Orders to send the orders to the approval blotter. If, however, the user would like to to amend the orders / model generated, then there are a number of options available during the session. Amending the Orders / Model Generated Note: The Rebalance button must be selected after all amendments have been made in order to ensure changes are affected. Model % Use this option if the user wishes to amend the weight of a particular security in the model for this session only. Double-click on the relevant security and enter the desired / amended value. NB: The total model % at the bottom of this column must equal 100% before the user can proceed with confirming the trades. Sell All To sell out of a security, right click on the security and select the Sell All option from the drop down menu displayed. Prevent Trading Use this option to prevent trading of a specific security within the modelling session. 29

Adjust to 100% Should there be any residual cash, use the Adjust to 100% option from the right click drop down menu. This option is only available for FX orders within the modelling session. Add Security Securities not included in the current model can be added for this session only. In the search field enter at least four characters of the name or security identifier to be added to the model portfolio. From the drop down menu, select the specific security by clicking on it. Once the selection has been made, click Add Security. Note: Once the user has selected the security, the Add Security button will activate. Buy / Sell This column displays the number of units that will be bought or sold as a result of the modelling session. Amendments are possible by double clicking on the values, in the highlighted column Buy / Sell. As the unit values are amended, the Result % values will adjust accordingly. The modelling session cannot be completed unless the total Result % is equal to 100%. Note: Clicking Reset Targets returns the modelling session to its original recommended trades. Cancel, returns the user to the Balance Portfolio To Model screen. Accounts This column displays the account the assets are being bought or sold from. Typically, the default purchase account is the GIA account. In order to edit this, select Accounts from the Field Picker and edit the account number directly in the required column. Click on the account you wish to change in order to display the possible accounts to choose from. 30

Preview Orders Clicking Preview Orders results in a summary screen of the proposed trades. Clicking Submit sends the trades to the approval blotter, which will only be sent to the dealing desk, once approved by an authorised user in the trade blotter. Balance Group Balance Group allows the user to balance a group of portfolios / accounts to a model. The steps to follow when balancing a group are similar to those followed when balancing a single portfolio / account. Note: A summary heat map loads showing how each portfolio within the group currently compares (before the modelling session) to the selected model. 31

Once the user has reviewed an individual portfolio, the user can select Approve Portfolio to approve that particular portfolio. The user can scroll through the other individual portfolios within the group by clicking on Next Portfolio or Previous Portfolio (if the user needs to go back) and approve each individually. Alternatively, the user can review all the portfolios and select Approve All Portfolios to approve the group of portfolios at once. Note: If the user selects Approve Portfolio for one portfolio, the system counts the number of portfolios within the group that are approved. In addition, the Approve Portfolio button is inactive if the user has already approved that portfolio. Simirlarly, if the user selects Reject for a single portfolio, the system counts the number of portfolios rejected for the modelling session. The proposed orders for the rejected portfolios are not posted. Once the user is satisfied with the recommended trades, click Preview Orders or Approve All Portfolios. Balance Account Balance Account allows the user to balance a specific account (within a portfolio) against a selected model portfolio. The steps to follow when balancing an account are similar to the steps mentioned above under Balance Portfolio. Balance Multi Accounts Balance Multi Accounts allows the user to balance multiple accounts (within a portfolio) against a selected model portfolio. Click Balance Multi Accounts to open the balance multi accounts screen and complete the relevant information. This screen is similar to the Balance Portfolio screen. Type in at least four characters of either the account number, or the account holders name, select desired account from the drop down menu and click on Add Account. Please refer to Balance to Group for further instructions. 32

Trades Tab MyCredo s trade instruction functionality offers the user more control over the accounts they manage. The flexibility of MyCredo allows a trade to be instructed through several ways within the application. The action buttons under the Trades Tab can be used to instruct trades (Buy or Sell, Invest or Raise), alternatively right clicking on a selected security within a portfolio and selecting the appropriate trade instruction (Buy / Sell /Invest / Raise) may also be used. MyCredo is a trade date system where positions are updated once an order has been placed, as follows: Order Placement: The order is generated based on the latest market price (delayed) held in MyCredo. Once an order is generated, the Pre-allocated Cash and Pre-allocated Market Value (security) fields are updated based on this estimated market price. The Allocated Cash and Allocated Market Value (security) fields remain unchanged. Trade Execution: Once an order has been executed in the market and the actual execution price, together with other trade details, is known, the Allocated Cash and Allocated Market Value (security) fields are updated based on the actual execution price and market costs. The pre-allocated and allocated information then becomes the same. A recent enhancement to the Trading functionality includes a Four-eyes approach, whereby an authorised user is required to approve or reject all trades prior to it being sent to the dealing desk. Refer to Approve / Reject. Note: Third party authority as well as the relevant due diligence documentation is required for a user to be granted trading access. Blotter The Blotter window reflects the trades that have been entered within the number of days as specified in the user s Settings (up to a maximum of 90 days). Trades in blue represent buy / invest orders and trades in red represent sell / raise orders. 33
