1 Permissive Use Permissive Use Coverage Non-owned Vehicle Enhanced/Standard Transportation Expense (Select) / Rental Car Reimbursement (Choice) Any person using an insured vehicle, with permission from the owner. A person using an insured vehicle with the owner s permission will be covered up to the policy limits. Physical damage coverage and liability coverage applies up to the policy limits, less any applicable deductibles. Enhanced Transportation Expense automatically applies for qualifying vehicles with comprehensive and collision coverage. It covers $25/day up to a maximum of $750 for the cost of transportation incurred due to a total theft or other acceptable losses under this coverage. Any gas, mileage, and insurance obtained through the public rental agency are not covered. You can increase this coverage to $30/day, $40/day, or $50/day. Standard Transportation Expense applies for vehicles with comprehensive and collision coverage. It covers $15/day up to a maximum of $450 for the cost of transportation incurred due to a total theft. For other acceptable losses under this coverage the limits are $15/day up to a maximum of $150. The Standard Transportation Expense coverage also applies if the insured vehicle has comprehensive coverage, but not collision coverage. Any person residing with the named insured and related by blood, marriage or adoption with the named insured s permission. Any other person provided the insured vehicle is used with the named insured s permission. Unless an agent or employee of the named insured, persons with the insured s permission will be covered up to 15/30/5. This limitation does not apply to the named insured, relative, or other drivers listed on the declaration page. No physical damage coverage applies and only limited liability coverage is available. Rental car reimbursement is an optional coverage available for vehicles with comprehensive and collision coverage in excess of the applicable deductible. The company will pay $25/day up a maximum of $625 for expenses related to the rental of a vehicle from a public rental agency. Any gas, mileage, and insurance obtained through the public rental agency are not covered. TH. 3/2/16. PAS 7 Page 1 of 6
2 Rental Vehicle Qualifiers A rental vehicle must qualify as your insured car in order to be covered under Physical Damage Coverage. Your insured car as outlined in the policy contract: a) any car described in the Declarations; b) any private passenger car or utility car that you acquire ownership of during the policy period and that replaces a car shown in the Declarations. If you wish Car Damage Coverage or All Risks Physical Damage Coverage to apply to the replacing car, you must ask us to insure that car within 30 days of acquiring it, and pay all premiums when due; c) any additional private passenger car or utility car that you acquire ownership of during the policy period, but only if we insure all other cars you own, and you notify us within 30 days of its acquisition and pay all premiums when due; d) any utility trailer you own. However, we will only provide Car Damage Coverage for a utility trailer shown in the Declarations and for which you have paid a separate premium charge for that coverage; and e) any car or utility trailer not owned by you or a resident of the same household in which you live being temporarily used as a substitute for any other vehicle described in this definition, because of its withdrawal from normal use due to breakdown, repair, servicing, loss or destruction, provided such use is with the permission of the owner; A rental vehicle must qualify as a temporary substitute automobile in order to be covered under Physical Damage Coverage.
