Its activities include mining, beneficiation, smelting, refining and production of finished Copper products at Units located in picturesque surroundings in the states of Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Gujarat with the Corporate Office at Kolkata. The Company is on a fast track of growth and expansion. 2 The relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-servicemen shall be as under, subject to production of relevant Caste/ Disability Certificate from the prescribed authority. RESERVATION The reservation of posts for candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC communities and Ex-Servicemen / Persons with Disabilities (PwD) shall be as per Government directives. The candidates claiming reservation benefits shall be required to submit the details of Caste / Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority. The ORIGINAL Certificate/s shall be required to be presented at the time of trade test. SELECTION PROCEDURE The selection procedure for post shall be Written Test followed by Trade Test of the shortlisted candidates.

3 APPLICATION FEE Candidates belonging to General and OBC (Non Creamy Layer) category are required to pay a non refundable application fees of Rs. 500/ only by Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn in favour of Hindustan Copper Limited payable at State Bank of India, Panvel Branch.Name of the candidate and post should be written on the back side of the demand draft. The application fee once paid will not be refunded on any account nor would this fee be held in reserve for future exam/ selection. SC/ST/PwD candidates are exempted from payment of application fees. However, for claiming exemption in application fees, SC/ST candidates will have to attach an attested copy of SC/ST certificate as applicable, issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format and PwD candidates claiming exemption in application fees will have to attach an attested copy of disability certificate in the prescribed format (degree of disability should be 40% and above) issued by Competent Authority at the time of forwarding hard copy of the Application Form. TRAINING & PROSPECTS Trainee Grade 1 Training will be for a period of three years. Trainees would be paid consolidated stipend of Rs 8000/- per month during 1 st year of training, Rs 8500/- per month during the second year and Rs 9000/- during 3 rd year of training. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be placed in T1 grade (Rs %-29050). Trainee Grade 2 Training will be for a period of three years. Trainees would be paid consolidated stipend of Rs 9000/- per month during 1 st year of training, Rs 9500/- per month during the second year and Rs 10000/- during 3 rd year of training. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be placed in T3 grade (Rs %-31810). Trainees would be provided Medical treatment for self only during training period. On successful completion of training, one will be entitled to accommodation/hra, Medical treatment for self and dependents, CPF, Gratuity etc according to Company Rules. CALL LETTERS/ADMIT CARDS Call letter for Written Examination/Trade Test shall be sent through / announcement on the Company s website. It is the responsibility of the candidate to download the Call letter and produce it during the time of Written/Trade Test. The

4 Company shall not be responsible for any loss of sent, due to invalid / wrong ID provided by the candidate or due to any other reasons. AMENDMENTS / MODIFICATION / CORRIGENDUM Any amendment / modification / corrigendum in respect of recruitment through this Advertisement shall only be communicated through the Company s website Hence, candidates are advised to keep themselves updated by visiting the website from time-to-time for updates, etc. GENERAL i) Candidates are advised to submit their Applications well in advance without waiting for the closing date. ii) Candidates should note that the details provided by them in their application is correct and the onus of proving the correctness and authenticity of the same as and when required lies with the applicant. iii) No Travelling Allowance shall be paid for appearing in Written/Trade Test. iv) In case of variation in name / surname / name spelling mentioned in the application with that in the respective certificates pertaining to Qualification / Caste etc., the applicant shall be required to submit an affidavit sworn-in before judicial magistrate/ appropriate authority to this effect along with the respective documents at the time of Trade Test failing which the candidature shall be liable to be cancelled. v) Candidates employed in Government / Semi-Government / Public Sector Undertaking are required to send their applications through proper channel. They may, however, submit a copy of their Application to their present employer for forwarding the same through Proper Channel or alternatively, produce a No Objection Certificate from their present employer at the time of Written/Trade Test failing which they shall not be allowed to sit for the Written/Trade Test. They should have completed at least two years service in the next below grade on the date of reckoning. vi) Employees in the service of the Company may apply in response to an advertised post if they fulfill the prescribed qualification. They shall not be required to pay any fee as prescribed in the Advertisement. The prescribed age limit shall not apply in such cases. They should have completed at least one year of service in the next below Grade on the date of reckoning. vii) HCL shall be free to reject any application at any stage of the recruitment process if the candidate is found ineligible for the applied post. The application fee paid by ineligible candidates shall be forfeited. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. viii) HCL reserves the right to change the number of vacancies and / or cancel / restrict / modify / alter the recruitment process, if required, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thereof.
