BTP currently participate in the Property, Contract Works, Terrorism, Fidelity Guarantee and PA + Travel insurances. The SEERPIC insurances are purchased by tender, other insurances are tendered independently. As SEERPIC is not a legal entity a Lead Force, a different one for each contract, purchase the insurances on behalf of Consortium members. The evaluation criteria is issued with the tender. 12 British Transport Police are not able to receive quotes from other insurers/brokers whilst under contract with our current insurers.
