We provide products and services for a wide range of customers by utilizing the group synergy of JR East Group. JR Material Procurement procures essential supplies for operations of railway business in JR East upon being entrusted with material procurement works by JR East. We supply materials in good quality with low price and fair, quick and stable operations under community-based procurement as basic policy. Since we deal in a wide variety of items such as articles for facility machines, railway vehicles and electrical products, uniforms and others, technical knowledge is required. JR Material Procurement contributes to safe and stable transportation and cost saving of JR East through its business. Material for track maintenance and Railway-related machine We procure articles necessary for maintaining railways and machines related to automatic ticket machines and ticket gates. Railway rolling stock materials We procure articles necessary for maintaining railway vehicles such as wheels, braking devices, trucks and interiors assembled at Rollings Stock Centers of JR East. Material Sales provides a wide range of articles from railway-specific materials such as for railway facilities and its construction to general purpose products. We select products in high quality and good cost performance by making use of buying power of JR East Group. We deal in articles for railway vehicles, tracks and electrical power/signals/communications as main products and deal with public and private railway companies, JR East Group, general contractors that take railway related construction and associated companies. Vehicle supplies Railway-related electronic equipments We procure materials for signals, communication, electrical power and overhead lines, which are necessary for railway transportation, for example, electrical bulletin boards used in stations. And we do articles used in power plants too. Railway-related Uniforms We procure uniforms which station staff, motormen, conductors and staff in track, electrical and vehicle maintenance departments wear. Exclusive goods for railway and everything else We procure articles used in stations and offices (stationery, office automation outfits and furniture) and specific articles such as papers for tickets and baggage for railway crews. We comprehensively support security and safety for all the customers as a professional team of insurance. Leasing Sales offers lease options that meet customers' needs in cooperation with suppliers and in response to diverse business environment and rapid technical innovation. We have dealt in a wide variety articles such as system devices, industrial facilities, office furniture and railway vehicles. We have consolidated system of the support so that we can provide continuous services for customers after leasing contract such as reports based on lease accounting, management data service of articles and disposal of properties after the expiration of the contract. We also offer rental services for short-term use and deferred payment plan (installment plan) of ancillary facilities of buildings to meet customers' needs. From contract to follow-up service We provide continuous support for customers such as witness inspection on delivery, management of contract information and arrangements after the expiration of the contract depending on properties. Based on our experience in shop management and marketing, we sell and produce goods such as well-designed, functional and selected foreign railway products. NOMONO / We run NOMONO, the shops selling local products (mainly food) from eastern Japan. The shops emphasize products that are typical of the season, region and traditions.
