1 INVOLUNTARY LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE Policy Terms and Conditions Reference Number : ILOE / (motor policy no) DEFINITIONS For the purpose of this policy, the following definitions shall apply unless the context otherwise requires: Benefit means the amount payable under the scope of this policy in respect of Involuntary Loss of Employment of the Insured Person not exceeding AED 5,000 Insured Person means the Motor Insurance Policy Holder. Commencement Date means the Motor Insurance Policy start date. Company means Union Insurance Company, Dubai, UAE. Date of Event means the date of notice of termination served to the Insured Person after the Commencement Date and during the policy period. Involuntary Loss of Employment means unemployment of the Insured Person arising out of the unilateral decision of the employer to terminate his employment contract without citing any reason or for any reason other than those mentioned under exclusions in the policy, provided the cause of the unemployment is notified to the Insured Person at least 90 days after the Commencement Date. A period of unemployment shall commence on the date they lose their employment or in the event the Insured Person being in receipt of a payment in lieu of notice at the end of such period, whichever is the later. Waiting Period means the 90 day period following the Commencement Date. No claim for Involuntary Loss of Employment is permitted by the Insured Person where the Date of Event occurs during this period. SCOPE OF COVER In the event of Involuntary Loss of Employment of the Insured Person after the Commencement Date and during the policy period, subject to the terms and conditions provided in this policy the Company shall pay the motor insurance policy premium paid by the Insured Person subject to a maximum of AED 5,000/- provided that the Date of Event falls after a Waiting Period of 90 days from the Commencement Date. CONDITIONS 1. The benefits under this policy shall be extended only to Insured Person named in the Motor Insurance Policy. 2. No Benefits shall be paid in respect of an Insured Person who attains the Maximum Coverage Age of 60 years. 3. The benefits under this policy in respect of the Insured Person shall terminate upon the happening of any one or more of the following: a. The Insured Person having attained 60 years of age b. Upon payment of a claim under this policy. c. Insured Person becoming unemployed voluntarily. 4. If any claim under this policy is in any way fraudulent or unfounded, all benefits under this policy shall be forfeited in respect of the particular Insured Person. 5. All claims and/or disputes shall be subject to the Jurisdiction of the Competent Courts of U.A.E. 6. The maximum cumulative amount of Benefits payable under this Policy for any one person shall not exceed AED 5,000 irrespective of the number of Motor Insurance Policies in force in respect of the Insured Person. CLAIMS PROCEDURE Upon happening of an event giving rise to a claim under this policy, the Insured Person shall follow the following procedure: 1. Give immediate written notice to the Company but not later than 90 days from the Date of Event. 2. The Insured Person shall complete the standard claim form issued by the Company and provide at no cost to the Company such evidence to substantiate the claim to the satisfaction of the Company as the Company may reasonably require; 3. The Insured Person shall submit the following documents: a. Notice of Termination from the Employer b. Copy of Passport with Visa Page The Company may also request for a copy of the Labour Contract from the Employer if it is required to verify the period of employment contract. EXCLUSIONS The Company is not liable in respect of Involuntary Loss of Employment arising out of and/or attributable to and/or in connection with the following: 1. Employees who have not been continuously employed with the same employer for a minimum 6 months at the Commencement Date 2. Employees who are on probation and whose involuntary unemployment is a result of their failure to successfully complete their probation. 3. Employment on a fixed term contract for less than 2 years or part time or temporary employment. 4. Resignation or leaving by mutual agreement or voluntary unemployment or redundancy after voluntary breaks from employment in excess of normal holiday entitlement. 5. Disability, sickness or accident or any other medical reasons (mental and/or physical). 6. Where the Insured Person was aware of impending unemployment, in the reasonable opinion of the Company, on or before the Commencement Date. 7. Where the unemployment is a normal seasonal part of the employment or due to non-renewal of employment contract by the authorities. 8. Where the Insured Person has neither been terminated nor become redundant but his/her salary or allowances is being withheld in part or in full for any reason. 9. Unemployment due to any of the following a. Misconduct b. Refusal to accept orders from the superiors c. Convicted in a crime d. Dishonesty or Fraudulent Act 10. Payment after the Insured Person reaches the Maximum Coverage Age. 11. Termination of employment due to voluntary retirement 12. Company failure where a contributing cause was a natural catastrophic peril 13. 2 SPECIAL FEATURES TERMS & CONDITIONS a) WIND SCREEN DAMAGE In the event of breakage of the windscreen of the insured vehicle where this is the only damage to the insured vehicle wither than scratching of bodywork resulting from the breakage, the Company will indemnify the insured for the cost of replacement of such windscreen and any payment in respect thereof shall not be deemed to be a claim for the purposes of calculating no-claim discount and shall not be subject to any deductible. The liability of the company shall not exceed one claim per policy year. b) NATURAL CALAMITIES, RIOTS & STRIKES: Natural Calamity cover is applicable in respect of loss or damage to the insured vehicle caused by: i) Riot or Strike ii) Civil Commotion which does not assume the proportions of or amount to a popular rising iii) Flood, storm, typhoon, cyclone, tornado, volcanic eruption, earthquake or other convulsion c) EMERGENCY MEDICAL EXPENSES (Applicable for vehicle registered on Individual name only) The Company will pay to the Insured and/or any other occupant of the insured vehicle the reasonable cost of medical expenses incurred in connection with any accidental bodily injury as the direct immediate result of an accident to the Insured vehicle. i) This shall apply only in respect of private motor cars insured in the name of an individual. ii) The Liability of the company shall not exceed the sum if AED 6,000 per person in respect of any one accident, subject to one claim per policy year. d) PERSONAL BELONGINGS (Applicable for vehicle registered on Individual name only) If personal clothing or effects are lost or damaged whilst in or on the covered vehicle by fire, theft, attempted theft or accident, the company will indemnify the Insured or Insured so wishes the owner of the property by payment in cash of the amount of loss or damage up to a maximum of AED 5,000/- subject to one claim per policy year. The Company shall deduct an amount for depreciation, wear and tear when upon settling a claim. The above cover is subject to the provision of separate & exclusive police report. Provided that the company shall not be liable in respect of: i) Loss or damage to money. Stamps, tickets, documents or securities. ii) Theft of any property carried on open or convertible vehicle unless in a locked boot or locked glove compartment. iii) Good or samples carried in connection with any trade. iv) This cover is not applicable whilst off road damage. v) Goods and/or items belonging to insured s trade or belonging to company where insured is employed. e) REPLACEMENT OF LOCKS (Applicable for vehicle registered on Individual name only) If the insured vehicle s keys or lock transmitter are lost or stolen, the Company shall pay the cost of maximum up to AED 1000/- for replacement of:- i) The door locks and boot lock ii) The ignition and steering lock and iii) The lock transmitter and central locking system Any payment in respect thereof shall not be deemed to be a claim for the purposes of calculating no-claim discount. The company shall not pay the cost of replacing any alarms or other security devises used in connection with the insured vehicle. Subject to one claim per policy year. f) VALET PARKING THEFT COVER (Applicable for vehicle registered on Individual name only) The company shall indemnify the insured for theft to the insured vehicle whilst in the custody or control of Hotels or Shopping Malls which the insured does not own, where the Insured vehicle has been parked by their authorized drivers. Provided that i) Customer files a case against the Hotel/Shopping Mall ii) The vehicle is handed over only to the authorized person after due verification iii) The person is a licensed driver iv) This is not covered by any other policy. Subject to one claim per policy year. g) AUTO GAP INSURANCE FOR 6 MONTHS (Applicable for vehicle registered on Individual name only) If the insured vehicle is under 6 months old and is declared a total loss, the Company shall pay for either a brand new replacement model or for the original purchase value, whichever lower. This shall apply for brand new vehicles only subject to one claim per policy year. h) DERBY AUTO ASSISTANCE BENEFITS (All Services will be provided within the same emirates only) Gold (AED 25/-) Platinum (AED 125/-) Minor Mechanical Assistance, Battery Boosting, Emergency Fuel Delivery, Lock Out service, Flat Tyre Service YES YES Automobile Registration & Renewal service once a year YES YES Off-Road recovery YES YES Vehicle servicing Pick/Drop twice a year & Airport Pick/Drop twice a year N/A YES UAE & Oman coverage YES YES 24 hours Rent a car at the time of accident N/A YES Discount on International Driving License AED 5/- AED 20/- i) Off-Road recovery available to vehicle stranded at a distance of 5 meters from the road. ii) Service Pick and Drop & Airport Pick and Drop service need to be booked 3 days in advance with the Derby Auto Assistance call center. i) OFF ROAD COVERAGE (Applicable for vehicle registered in Individual name only) The policy is extended to cover loss or damage to the covered vehicle whilst being driven off road. Provided that: i) This cover is applicable for station vehicles with 4 wheel drive specifications, subject to applicable excess double than normal ii) Company will not be liable to pay for any damage if loss and/or damage occurred during the course of competitive events and/or race of any kind and/or safari & pleasure activities. iii) Doesn t include loss and/or damage to personal belongings, enhancements on vehicle and modification of any kind for off road driving. j) AMBULANCE SERVICE In case of accident, ambulance service charges for any injured/deceased person shall be covered by the insurance company.

3 TERMS & CONDITIONS COURTESY CAR CASH BENEFIT FEATURES COVER COURTESY CAR CASH BENEFIT AED 215/- Courtesy Car Cash Benefit (Applicable for Saloon & Station Wagon for Private/Personal and vehicles in Company name for Individual Use only) In the event of an admissible claim under the policy, the Company will pay a cash benefit of AED 100/- per day subject to the following conditions: 1. Maximum 8 days cash compensation - 1 day Excess (Deductible for the 1st day only) 2. Maximum compensation per accident - AED 700/- 3. Maximum 2 claims in a year i.e. maximum compensation per year is AED 1,400/- 4. Applicable for Individual owned vehicles and company maintained vehicles provided for the use of their staff provided the Company gives an undertaking that the vehicle is used by the single person only. The benefit will be paid to the Company. 5. The area of coverage is within UAE 6. Not applicable for Third party policies 7. Not applicable for Total Loss Claims 8. Not applicable for commercial vehicles. 9. The indemnity period starts from the date of submission of the car for repair and ends on the date of completion of repair as certified by the repaired. 10. Claims processor decision will be the final decision on number of days of repair.

4 TERMS & CONDITIONS REPLACEMENT OF VEHICLE FEATURES COVER 5 DAYS 7 DAYS 10 DAYS AED 145/- AED 175/- AED 260/- REPLACEMENT OF VEHICLE (Applicable for Saloon & Station Wagon for Private/Personal and vehicles in Company name for Individual Use only) 1. The Geographical coverage area is restricted to U.A.E. only. 2. The cover will be provided only for the duration from the date of submission of the vehicle for the repairs and ends on the date of completion of the repair subject to the maximum number of days for unlimited claims during the policy period. The repair works and Replacement Vehicle have to be arranged and authorized by UIC Claims Department. 3. Claims processor decision will be the final decision on the number of days of repair. 4. The cover is applicable for Individual owned vehicles and company maintained vehicles provided for the use of their staff provided the company gives an undertaking that the vehicle is used by the single person only. 5. Replacement vehicle will be 1.3 or 1.6ltr engine vehicle. For example, Nissan Tiida, Toyota Yaris etc 6. The Insured Person shall be responsible for the cost of fuel during the rental and for any Traffic Offense committed during the rental period. UIC / Rent A Car company will not be responsible for any Fines and Traffic Offenses whatsoever. 7. The Replacement Vehicle should be returned by the Insured at the end of the Replacement period covered by the Rent A Car Company. If kept for a longer period, the Insured will pay all additional rental charges. 8. The Insured must receive and return the Replacement Vehicle at the Rent A Car Company premises. 9. The Replacement Vehicle cover is not available for regular car service, checkups and for immobilization caused by any malfunctioning or breakdown of the Insured Vehicle. 10. In case of misuse of membership, it will be automatically cancelled and cancellation will be approved by both parties. 11. Not applicable for Third party policies, Total Loss Claims and commercial vehicles. 12. No Replacement Vehicle is provided on holidays or the day before holidays unless for the insured car is undrivable, and it will be settled down case by case after the approval of the Motor Manger. 13. The Insured must submit the Police Report & Claims Form to UIC which will be forwarded to Rent A Car company. 14. The Insured will be subject to and fully responsible for all hiring terms and conditions applied by the Rent A Car Company. 15. The insured must provide his credit card details as a security deposit against any costs related to Salik / fines etc. prior to renting the vehicle. Credit card details will be provided to the Rent a Car company. An amount (as per the rent a car company terms & conditions) shall be blocked from the credit card and will be released in working days after deduction of fines (if any). 16. In case replaced vehicle meets an accident, the customer has to intimate the rent a car company and they shall provide another vehicle to the customer. However, if the claim is at fault, customer has to pay the excess amount and fine (if any) as per the Rent a car company terms & conditions. 17. In case Rent A Car company is unable to provide the replacement vehicle due to any reason, AED 100/- per day shall be paid to the customer as a compensation (by Rent A Car company) in the form of a cheque.
