GENERAL POLICY TERMS Important Definitions INSURED EVENT shall mean theft or sudden and unforeseen physical loss or damage to the insured Device subject to the exclusions in clause 14 below. FIRST AMOUNT PAYABLE OR EXCESS shall mean an amount to be paid by The Insured in respect of each and every successful claim lodged. ADMINISTRATOR shall mean Worldwide Advisory Services (Pty) Ltd. THE INSURER shall mean Mutual and Federal Risk Financing Limited. THE COMPANY shall mean GloCell Service Provider (Pty) Ltd. DEVICE shall mean Cellular Phone, Tablet, Lap Top, SIM Card, Modem or any other data device as specified by the subscriber agreement received when the airtime contract was taken out, or the latest Cellular Phone, Tablet, Lap Top, SIM Card, Modem or any other data device specified by the subscriber agreement received with the last upgrade on the same contract number. DEVICE INSURANCE PRODUCT shall mean the tier or band selected by The Insured. THE INSURED shall mean the person/s and/or entities named as The Policy holder or those in whose name the Policy is issued. EXPIRY DATE Final date on which the policy is valid. CLARIFICATION OF POLICY TERMS This policy embodies the contract between The Insurer and The Insured. 1. You/Your/Yours/Yourself means The Insured as defined above. 2. We/Us/Ours means The Insurer, as defined above. 3. General Conditions and Exclusions: Are considered applicable to the whole Policy unless it is specifically stated otherwise. INSURANCE CLAUSE Provided the premium is received and accepted by us, we will, on the occurrence of an Insured Event defined in any insured section of the Policy, which occurs during the period of insurance, indemnify you at our option by repair or replacement, up to the Sum Insured or Limit of Indemnity less Any First Amount Payable or Excess stated for the Insured Event, subject to all the terms and conditions of the Policy relating to that section. If an Insured Event occurs to the Device within the Period of Insurance and before the Expiry Date of this Policy, provided the request premium to incept the Policy has been received by us, we will indemnify you at our option either by repair or replacement, up to the Sum Insured or the Limit of Indemnity as defined under Device Insurance Product and explained under section 13 less any First Amount Payable or Excess stated for the Insured Event, subject to all the terms and conditions of the Policy. GENERAL POLICY TERMS PERIOD OF INSURANCE The period of insurance is from the date that this insurance Policy is issued until written notification of cancellation is received from either party. PREVENTION OF LOSS You must take all reasonable precautions to prevent loss, damage or accidents.

2 1. CLAIMS PROCEDURE, REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS 1.1 If an event giving rise to or likely to give rise to a claim comes to your knowledge, you must notify the Administrator within 30 (thirty) days and as soon as possible provide us with, at your own expense: Written details of the event on the standard claim form Such information and sworn declarations that we may require from time to time Details of any other insurance covering the same event Claims in respect of theft or loss must be reported to the Police within 48 (forty-eight) hours or as quickly as possible after discovery of theft or loss Claims in respect of theft or loss must also be reported to The Company immediately but no more than 24 Hours after the loss in order for The Company to blacklist the Device and provide you with an ITC reference number. This number must be presented to The Administrator in addition to any other requested information as part of the claims documentation SIM Cards that are Lost or Stolen must be suspended by the client within 24 (twenty-four) Hours of the loss In the case of damaged items, the insured item must be provided to The Administrator Pay the applicable excess If we reject liability for any claim made or contemplated under this Policy we will be relieved of liability unless summons is served on us within 90 (ninety) days of such rejection. 1.2 Should a damaged Device be rendered Beyond Economical Repair and the claim is honoured by replacement of the damaged Device, The Company reserves the right to keep possession of the damaged Device and may dispose of same in the manner of its own choosing. 1.3 Claims will only be entertained provided that premiums have been paid up to date of the time of loss. 1.4 The insurer or The Company can take over and conduct in the name of The Insured the settlement of any claim or prosecution of any criminal action in connection with the loss or damage of the insured item. 2. FRAUDULENT OR WILFULACTS All rights of indemnity under this Policy will be forfeited if: 2.1 A claim is in any respect fraudulent or if fraudulent means are used by you, or on your behalf, to obtain any benefit under this policy. 2.2 A claim in any way occurs due to a wilful act committed by you or with your connivance (involvement or knowledge). 2.3 Information in connection with a claim is not true. 3. OTHER INSURANCE If a claim payable under this Policy is also payable under any other policy, we will only pay our rateable proportional share of the claim. 4. OBSERVANCE OF POLICY TERMS Our liability is conditional on the observance of the Policy terms, conditions and endorsements by any person claiming indemnity or benefit. 6. LIMITATIONS AND AMENDMENTS Limitations and/or amendments to the Policy may be made by us after giving you 30 (thirty) days written notice thereof at your last known address or address. 7. JURISDICTION This Policy is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa. 8. CANCELLATION/PREMIUM PAYMENT 8.1 CANCELLATION This policy may be cancelled; by you at any time and must be given to The Company in writing and we will be entitled to retain the customary short term premium or minimum premium paid; This Policy or any section of this Policy may be cancelled: by us upon 30 (thirty) days written notice to you at your last known or nominated address or address Notice shall be deemed to have been received by you after 10 (ten) days of the dispatch of the notice unless proven by you to the contrary. 8.2 If you do not pay your premium on time as stipulated in your policy, your policy will lapse and you will not have any cover for losses suffered. We will not reject a claim because a premium is not paid on the due date; if payment is made during the following period of grace: The Company will allow that a grace period of 15 (fifteen) days is provided in order for you to make payment of the premium Should the premium still remain unpaid, The Company will attempt to debit your nominated account for the outstanding premium on the next applicable bill run; this will be in addition to the current month s premium which is applicable Should the two premiums now still not be paid; the Company will allow for another grace period of 15 (fifteen) days to pay all the outstanding premiums Should the outstanding premiums still not be paid after this grace period, the policy will be cancelled by way of 30 (thirty) days written notice to your last known postal or address Should you suffer a loss during the grace periods, all claims will only be submitted once proof of premium payment has been received All losses that occur after the Policy has been cancelled will not be entertained. 9. SELECTION OF PRODUCT The Insured shall be responsible for the selection of the correct Device Insurance Product to adequately insure the correct value of the Device or any replacement or upgrade Device as supplied by The Company. If at any time you are uncertain as to what value your device should be insured at, please contact the Administrator, Worldwide Advisory Services (Pty) Ltd on NO RIGHTS TO OTHER PERSONS Unless otherwise provided, nothing in this Policy shall give any rights to any person other than the Insured. The receipt of The Insured shall, in every case, be of full discharge to The Company. In the event of The Insured is doing a name change on any contract or SIM card, the onus of cancellation of this Policy shall be on The Insured. 5. NOTICE AND STATEMENTS All notices and statements, if requested by us, are given in writing in connection with the loss or damage of The Insured Item.

3 10. GEOGRAPHICAL LIMITS The Insured shall arrange for The Company to activate the International Roaming Facility for use of the handset outside the Republic of South Africa. In the event that the International Roaming Facility is not activated, no compensation will be payable for any loss or damage occurring outside the Republic of South Africa. 11. USE OF DEVICE WITH CONTRACT SIM CARD/MSISDN (CELLPHONE NUMBER) The indemnity provided by the insurance in terms of this Policy shall only be applicable when the insured Device (issued Device IMEI Number) is used in conjunction with the Contract SIM Card (MSISDN). Cover shall not be operative whilst the insured device is being used in conjunction with any prepaid and/or contract SIM card whatsoever. 12. SECTION 1: DEFINED EVENTS/MATERIAL DAMAGE Theft or sudden unforeseen physical loss or damage to The Device excluding mechanical breakdown but including corrosion during the period of insurance from any cause or event unless such event is excluded below. 13. Any cost of replacing, reinstating or making good wear and tear, gradual deterioration, scratching or any other superficial damage to outer castings, aerials or keypads Unexplained or mysterious disappearance, gross negligence and/or any unattended device. Losses from your place of work where the Device is left unattended, unless the Device is out of view and secured in a drawer, cabinet or the like Loss or damage to the Device resulting from or caused by theft, loss or damage or attempted theft of a Device left in any unattended vehicle, unless such device is in the locked boot of a vehicle (Saloon cars), or concealed under the rear parcel shelf (hatchback cars) or spare wheel compartment (estate cars) or concealed in a locked glove compartment in an LDV or any vehicle, whereby forcible entry is made into the vehicle, necessitating repairs to such vehicle and the original of the repairer s account for such damage is supplied upon submission of claim. Furthermore, theft, loss or damage of the Device from the side pockets or any other interior space of the vehicle, other than specified (above) will not be covered. It is a condition precedent for any loss/theft of the Device emanating from a vehicle, that there must be visible signs of forced entry into the vehicle. Therefore, an occasion of Car Jamming whereby it is asserted that a perpetrator used a mechanism to jam the remote locking signal for your car is expressly excluded.

4 Erasure/corruption of data or defects in design or manufacture or failure of batteries Loss, damage or theft of accessories (including car kits) Loss, damage caused by; the intentional act or wilful neglect, of The Insured; the intentional overloading of the Device; experiments involving imposition of any abnormal conditions on the Device The intentional submersion of the Device even if the Device is designed for such activity Penalties of delay or detention or in connection with guarantees of performance or efficiency Cover automatically ceases if the Device is barred or disconnected by The Company. 15. SPECIFIC CONDITIONS 15.1 The liability of the insurer is limited to the cost of repair or replacement (at the option of The Insurer) the device as follows: PARTIAL DAMAGE Where the Device can be economically repaired, The Insurer will pay the costs reasonably incurred to restore it to the same state of serviceability existing immediately before the occurrence of the damage. The Company will replace The Device with the same or a similar device with similar features and value of the damaged device, should such costs exceed 50% (fifty percent) of the value of the damaged Device TOTAL LOSS The device will be replaced within 30 (thirty) days of the loss being reported to The Administrator and The Insurer will pay the reasonable cost of replacement with a device of the same or similar type in features and value and condition as the Device. 16. MALICIOUS DAMAGE 16.1 Malicious damage (theft). This section covers loss or damage to The Device by the deliberate or wilful or wanton act of any person other than The Insured, in the course of theft or any attempted theft Malicious damage: The deliberate or wilful or wanton act of any person, other than the insured, which action causes damage to The Device. A case of destruction of property must be opened against the perpetrator at a police station within 24 hours of the occurrence and a case number must be provided. 17. GENERAL EXCEPTIONS 18.1 CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE This Policy does not cover consequential loss or damage of any kind whatsoever except as specifically provided POLITICAL OR NON-POLITICAL RISKS Loss or damage resulting from political or non-political riot, strike or civil commotion, public disorder, war, invasion, terrorism or public violence or which is insurable by SASRIA (South African Special Risks Insurance Association) is excluded from this cover DATE RELATED LOSS Loss or damage to property or the Device insured caused by or related to its inability or failure to treat any date as the correct date or true calendar date is excluded.

FRAUDULENT/UNLAWFUL USE OF SIM CARD In the event of loss or theft of the SIM Card belonging to The Insured, The Insurer will pay for any airtime costs due to the use of the card by any person not authorised to do so by The Insured, for a period not exceeding 24 (twenty-four) hours from the time of loss or theft, provided that the liability of The Insurer does not exceed the following amounts for any one claim: Product Amount Device Insurance 1000 R1 000 Device Insurance 1500 R1 000 Device Insurance 3000 R2 000 Device Insurance 5000 R2 000 Device Insurance 7500 R2 000 Device Insurance R2 000 Device Insurance R2 000 Device Insurance R2 000 Device Insurance R2 000 Device Insurance R SPECIAL CLAUSE TO UNLAWFUL USE OF SIM CARD 20.1 It is a condition precedent to cover under this Section that The Insured take all reasonable steps to safeguard the SIM card at all times The Insured must report all losses to The Administrator at the very earliest opportunity and not more than 24 (twenty-four) hours after becoming aware of such loss. The PIN (Personal Identity Number) code must be active and selected, must be other than zeros and must not be kept with the Device.
