2 UNDERWRITING RULES SCOPE Tourist Automobile Insurance Policy designed to provide coverage to vehicles with foreign registry, owned and used by persons who travel across the U.S. border into Mexico. Coverage available for foreign Mexican residents available through RC Policy. DRIVERS AGE RANGE: 21 to 75 years old -No added premium Under 21 or over 75 with valid driver s license - Additional premium COVERAGE AVAILABLE BASIC COVERAGE Liability only. Physical Damage, Total theft and Liability Physical Damage Total Theft Civil Liability for Property damage Civil Liability for Bodily injury Medical Expense Legal Defense Road Assistance ADDITIONAL COVERAGE Vandalism Covers up to 10% of insured value Deductible Waiver for Uninsured Motorists Travel Club Medical Expenses for occupants while outside of the vehicle Important: All policies include Legal Defense & Road Assistance coverage 15/12/09 2/7

3 CONDITIONS AND RATE: TERRITORY: Insurance policy shall be subject to the Insurance General Conditions and rate in force. Northern States: Baja California Norte and Sur, Chihuahua, Sonora, Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, Sinaloa and Durango. All of Mexico: All of Mexican Republic. ACCEPTANCE: PRIVATE USE VEHICLES ONLY. Automobiles Pickup - up to 2 ½ tons. 14 years 14 years Physical Damage & Total Theft shall only be provided for vehicles 14 years old or newer. Trailer, Trailer & Boat, or other type of vehicle will be covered while attached to the vehicle listed on the policy. INSURANCE OPTION Daily entrance insurance policy - from 1 to 40 days *Multiple entry insurance policies days or 365 days. 15/12/09 3/7

5 ADVANCED CANCELLATION: Daily entrance Insurance policies & Multiple entrance Insurance policies. In the event of any advance cancellation premium shall be adjusted accordingly to the number of days covered. Cancellation refunds must be requested in writing from the customer and the request has to include their signature. POLICY FEE: $15.00 US. IVA TAX (VAT) APPLICABLE: 10% AS ESTABLISHED BY IVA LAW ARTICLE 15/12/09 5/7

6 GUIDELINES Agents are required to: - Specified characteristics of vehicle and tow vehicle (trailer, boat and its trailer) - All towed vehicles (trailers & boats) must be listed. Failure to do so will void coverage. - Insured amount for Sections 1 and 2, of the general conditions - Values are set by the customer as the estimated actual cash value. Please, consult the Kelley Blue book to obtain actual cash value and respect authorized limits of acceptance. Insurance Company is not obligated to pay in excess of such value. Do not write any policy for a double value. - Liability risks shall be written for vehicles 15 years old. - Policy date and time must be as requested by the Insured. However, Agent must never backdate a policy. - The word EXCLUDED must be shown beside any risk that is not cover. - Issue one policy per vehicle - Premium report must be sent to the Insurance Company as agreed along with premium payment. IMPORTANT: Use total value of all listed items to determine rate. 15/12/09 6/7

7 IN THE EVENT OF ACCIDENT: It is very important to remind the insured that - In the event of claim under Sections 1 and 2, of the general conditions they have a mandatory deductible. - In case of accident, immediate notice shall be given to the Insurance Company or to any of its authorized representatives before leaving the Mexican Republic. Noncompliance may result in reduction of the amount payable under the policy. - Driving a vehicle without having a driver s license in force makes policy null and void.
