1 Therapy Session Structure Sessions take place in pre-arranged locations and home visits are not available, except in exceptional circumstances. In such an instance, it is possible that travel expenses will be charged. Clients will have 50 minutes from the agreed time of their session. Sessions cannot run over, thus if a client is late, they will have the remainder of the 50 minutes available to them and full session cost will still be charged. Cancellation Policy Cancellations with more than 2 weeks notice will not incur a charge. Fewer than 2 weeks notice and more than 48 hours notice and the charge will be 10. If a cancellation is made with fewer than 48 working hours notice then the full session fee will still be charged. Please note: insurance companies do not usually cover the cost of missed appointments. Session day... Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Cancel by... Friday evening Sunday evening Monday evening If cancellations become a regular pattern, the therapist maintains the right to charge for the missed appointments, at least to cover the cost of the room being hired. The therapist will always speak to the client to give advance warning of this change. I will give you as much notice as possible for any planned or unexpected breaks or holidays taken. Sessions confirmation Initial sessions are not confirmed until they have been paid for. Following the initial consultation, sessions are booked in blocks of 6 and will be confirmed by . 2 The length of therapy can vary and we offer short, medium and long-term work. Some people are looking for a space to gather their thoughts, while others are looking for a space to explore themselves deeply. Some people come with a specific problem and others come with more general questions or needs. During the initial assessment, we will have a conversation about how long the process is likely to take. From there, we will continue to review our goals and progress together. Often, people come to therapy looking for a quick fix or easy solutions. Unfortunately, therapy and change often demand more time than we might hope. It is our ethical responsibility to see you for the fewest sessions possible we will not drag out therapy. Recording Sessions Recording sessions ensures you are getting the best possible service. The recordings are used for practitioner reflection and supervision, only and are held securely. There is a possibility that you will be asked whether they can be used for training purposes, but this will not be done without your express permission. If you are uncomfortable about the idea of session recordings, or would like to know more, please raise it in the session. Contact between Sessions Any contact between sessions, involving emotional or parenting support can be discussed during sessions and will be charged at the hourly rate of 100 pro-rata. In the case of an emergency, clients should contact NHS 111, emergency services on 999 or can speak to the Samaritans on Support between Sessions While there is sometimes need for contact to arrange appointments, it is not always possible to offer on-going contact between sessions. If you would feel that you need this additional support, this can be discussed during sessions and will be charged at an hourly rate of 100 pro-rata. Report Writing and Network Liaison Any report writing or contact to other professionals (e.g. GP, psychiatrist, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Schools) will be charged as detailed above. Complaints

3 If you have concerns about my practice and would like to raise a complaint, you can do that with the Health and Care Professionals Council. More details about this can be found at Ending Once a client is accepted for treatment I have an ethical responsibility to accompany the process to the end. Therapy comes to a completion naturally as an agreement between both parties. The client is free to end therapy at any stage. It is advised that at least 2 weeks notice be given prior to ending, however this is not mandatory. Method of Payment Initial sessions are not confirmed until they have been paid for. Self-Funded Payments must be paid by bank transfer no less than 48 hours prior to each session. Payments can be made by cash or cheque at the end of sessions, by prior arrangement. In this instance, the first payment will be a double payment and your final session will not be charged. Bank: Nationwide Sort code: Account Number: Insurance It is the client s responsibility to ensure that the insurance company has agreed to fund the full cost of sessions. Any differences in payment from the insurance company will be incurred by the client. If the insurance company have not agreed to fund the work, the full fee is payable by the client. Please see the cancellation policy further down and note that not all insurance companies will cover the cost of missed sessions if this is the case, the client will be charged the fee. Adoption Support Fund If you are requesting work through the Adoption Support Fund, please ask your Social Worker to contact me to arrange an application. If you choose to start work before your application has been approved, any fees that are not covered by the Adoption Support Fund, will be charged to the client. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and will be interpreted in accordance with the English courts. The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any claim or dispute which might arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions.

The course is made of 4 sessions and each will be based around a theme. There will be opportunities to ask questions and practise the skills you are learning. Sessions will begin at the stated time. If you are likely to arrive late, please inform Dr Maxine Campion beforehand on the contact details above. Entry into the session for late arrivals will be at the discretion of the course instructor. Cancellation Policy Cancellations made up to one week in advance of the start date of the course will receive a full refund. Cancellations within a week of the course start date will not be refunded. The instructor reserves the right to cancel the course. If the course is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.
