The Successful Offeror shall secure and maintain, at its own expense, and keep in effect during the full period of the contract, a policy or policies of insurance, which must include the following coverages and minimum limits of liability: (a) (b) Worker's Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance with a minimum limit of $200,000 each accident for all employees of the Successful Offeror engaged in work under the Contract in accordance with the laws of the Sate of Florida. The Successful Offeror shall agree to be responsible for the employment, control and conduct of its employees and for any injury sustained by such employees in the course of their employment. Comprehensive General Liability Insurance with the following minimum limits of liability: $ 2,000,000 Combined Single Limit, Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability per occurrence Coverages shall specifically include the following: 1. Premises and Operations; 2. Independent Contractors; 3. Products and Completed Operations; 4. Broad Form Property Damage; 5. 6 City of Coral Springs Fuel Tanks March 1, 2018 City of Coral Springs Attn: Leo Bermudez Metal Fuel Tanks Exterior Exposure An inspection has been made by a Benjamin Moore Representative and/or an authorized dealer representative on the above listed address. SCOPE OF WORK: Preparation and painting of Previously Painted Metal Fuel Tanks and Pipes. Surfaces to be painted shall be cleaned with an appropriate solvent or detergent solution to remove all traces of dirt, dust, grime, and oily residues prior to application of the specified coatings in accordance with SSPC-SP1-63 Solvent Cleaning. (Oil & Grease Emulsifier is recommended for cleaning) Surfaces that exhibit moderate to heavy chalk must be cleaned by power wash. Any mold and mildew must be removed and treated with a bleach solution of 3 parts water to 1 part bleach. Where rust, corrosion and deteriorated coating exist, the surfaces should be abrasive blast cleaned in accordance with SSPC-SP6-63 Commercial Blaster Cleaning. (Grind off all rust blooms and pin hole rust to a smooth surface profile) The surfaces should be blown off with compressed air to remove traces of blast products and primed within 24 hours with the specified primer. Glossy surfaces should be dulled by sanding. After proper preparation, apply spot primer on all bare or rusted metal surfaces with Benjamin Moore s/corotech V 155 Epoxy Pre-Prime at 3 mils wet to the exposed metal surfaces according to the manufacturer label instructions. After proper preparation Prime all surfaces to be painted with Benjamin Moore s /Corotech DTM Primer V110 at 5 mils wet to the metal surfaces according to the manufacturer label instructions. To the properly sealed surface apply one coat of Benjamin Moore s/corotech Aliphatic Urethane Gloss Coating V500 at 4 mils wet as described below according to the manufacturers label instructions. Remove and replace all placards and decals. Take all precautions to properly contain all over-spray due to nearby retention pond and parked vehicles.
