Provides exceptions. Authorizes the Department of Consumer Affairs to establish a system for the issuance to a licensee of a citation when the licensee is in violation. Requires related regulations. Authorizes such fee in an amount sufficient to cover costs incurred with regulating retail sellers. Enacts the Tire Recycling Incentive Program Act that would provide incentive payments for entities using California-generated waste tire material. (34-34) Position: Concerns CA AB 1508 Mullin [D] Workforce Investment Boards: Funding 03/04/ /18/2016 Senate Rules Committee Amends an existing law which requires local workforce investment boards to spend a minimum percentage of specified funds for adults and dislocated workers on federally identified workforce training programs, which allows the boards to leverage specified funds, and which authorizes a credit of that funding minimum for leveraged funds, which include Pell Grants and employment training panel grants.
