10 BIOGRAPHIES Mr. Berg is an experienced alternative investment professional with 13 years of finance, investments, and institutional sales experience from London and New York. Before founding Catalyst Fund Advisors, he had several roles with hedge funds and allocators, including being an Associate Director at New Amsterdam Capital, a EUR 3bn credit investment firm in London, being an Institutional Sales Director at T&T Capital Management, a New York City based volatility arbitrage fund, and being an Investment Advisor at LIB Ltd, a London based family office, arranging investments in high growth private companies. Carl Berg CEO Catalyst Fund Advisors He started out his career at the investment bank Jefferies Putnam Lovell in their Financial Institutions M&A department and worked earlier also at Sachs Bloomberg, a conference producer organizing large finance events across Europe. He was a Sergeant in the Royal Swedish Navy. In addition, Mr Berg also runs Catalyst Financial Partners, a specialist investor event business. He speaks conversational German and is a native of Sweden, and holds a BSc in Economics and an MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
