6 Our Team Dr. Mahendra Mehta Dr. Mahendra Mehta is currently Chairman and Managing Director of NeuralTechSoft, based in Mumbai (India). Since February 2002, Dr. Mehta has been involved in consultancy and executive education in various financial areas focusing primarily on banking, and financial risk management. He has delivered more than 250 talks & seminars in various countries including Spain, Dubai, England, Abu- Dhabi, Qatar, Saudi-Arabia, South Africa, India, Bahrain, Egypt, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Jordan etc. Dr Mehta was a part of the senior management at CitiBank across geographies in various capacities. Dr. Pratap Sondhi Dr. Sondhi has over 30 years of extensive experience in investment banking, treasury management, exposure management, managing the development and implementation of innovative Price and Credit Risk Management techniques, and other related areas. He has worked at Citibank s various offices across the globe winning laurels for his unparalleled work in the Risk Management & Derivatives arena. He was the man behind Citibank s first integrated risk management system. He remained as Global Head for Derivative Analytics at Citibank from and Senior Risk Manager between at Citibank, London. 7 Our Team Dr. Vikram Kuriyan Dr. Kuriyan was the head of Quantitative Strategies and Chairman of the Global Asset Allocation Committee at Columbia Management Group, the asset management division of Bank of America. He was responsible for $30 billion + that were invested in multiple strategies including quantitative equity, asset allocation and absolute return products. He also served as managing director of a fixed-income arbitrage, principal investing and credit trading fund in Tokyo and as the global head of complex derivatives in the commodities group at Merrill Lynch. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst by qualification. Dr. Mridul Mehta Dr. Mridul Mehta has been extensively involved in various areas focusing on mathematics and finance for over ten years. His areas of expertise span from equities, derivatives, high frequency statistical arbitrage trading, development and implementation of strategies and models and algebraic geometry. Dr. Mehta has done extensive work on credit risk modeling, stress testing of credit portfolio and estimation of probability of default (PD). He previously worked in the Global Equities Derivative Strategies Group in Citadel Investment Group, Chicago, USA. Following this he was the Head of High Frequency trading in Europe. 8 Our Team Dr. Diethelm Wurtz Dr. Diethelm Wurtz currently teaches Econophysics courses at ETHZ and is the developer of the R-metrics software environment. He is one of the founder members of Finance Online, a partner firm of NeuralTechSoft. His post-doctorate activity took him to the IBM research laboratory in Switzerland. In 1988 he joined the ETH as research assistant and university lecturer. He is the Founder & CEO of Riskhints Ltd., Hongkong. Dr. Satish Shinde Dr Satish Shinde has successfully completed more than 150 training and consultancy assignments for various banks and corporates in the Middle East and South Asia. Dr Shinde has practical banking experience of more than 18 years with Industrial Development Bank of India & the State Bank of India in the areas of Project finance, remedial management, corporate lending and Credit Management.
