The company fills or manages more than 1 billion prescriptions per year. It operates more than 7,000 retail pharmacies and more than 500 retail health clinics under the Minute Clinic brand, causing many of their competitors to lower in value. Upgrading CVS Caremark shares to Outperform, from Market Perform, to reflect good positioning for 2012 and strong business fundamentals.
