Approve Modification Agreement No. 1 between Imperial County and MC2 Engineering and Surveying Solutions for Resurfacing of Arnold Road from East of Quick to (S24) Picacho Road in Imperial County; County Project No Authorize Chairman to sign Modification Agreement No. 1 between Imperial County and MC2 Engineering and Surveying Solutions for the Resurfacing of Arnold Road from East of Quick Road to Picacho Road in Imperial County On March 19, 2014, Minute Order No. 24, the Board approved an agreement between the County of Imperial Department of Public Works and MC2 to perform Resident Engineer and Construction Inspection Services for County project 56624, Arnold Road from East of Quick Road to (S24) Picacho Road in Imperial County The improvements for the subject project are within the Quechan Tribe of the Fort of Yuma Indian Reservation and required extensive coordination for: 1) payment of Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) Tax, 2) Cultural Resource Monitoring and 3) unforeseen replacement of an underground water culvert under the road by the Bard Water District. These issues resulted on an increase of the work anticipated originally for the Resident Engineer Services. The total compensation payable under the original agreement was a not to exceed amount of $93, As a result of the subject changes the original agreement has been modified to reflect appropriate costs. The compensation payable under the agreement has been increased by 16,142.50, as indicated by the Consultant's Proposal, for a total not to exceed amount of $109, FISCAL IMPACT: rhere will be no impact to the County General Fund.
