Have a pipeline paper on monetary transmission mechanisms in Uganda using the Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium. This should solidify my skills in MATLAB usage 7. Well versed with growth models and their empirical applications 8. Hands on experience in computer Microsoft basic packages (Word, Excel) including excel modelling Key Outputs (Norwegian Embassy & Danish Embassy): 1. Chaired the Donor Economist Group (DEG).The roles included but not limited to; promoting coordinated, prioritized, and economically informed policy dialogue with Government and other stakeholders including National Planning Authority. 2. Provided quality input to the DP input to the NDP process. In particular as DEG chair, I coordinated the DP quality assurance input on the macro fiscal sections of the NDP as well provided input on the accountability PFM section. 1

Produced a number of economic policy papers for embassy in realm of oil production, revenue generation in Uganda, the review of inflation targeting in Uganda, the banking industry growth and its down ward risks, the economic outlook of Uganda. 4. One of the donor representatives that supported and provided quality and technical support to the design of public financial programme three (FINMAP III). In addition, I am the programme officer for public finance management and accountability related activities including working jointly with government team in producing quality PFM reports. I was also involved in the last two PEFA assessments. 5. Part of Taskforce that designed the Ugandan on Joint Budget support Framework. This included design of SMART indicators jointly with government ministries and jointly carrying out assessment of progress against the agreed joint assessment framework indicators. 6. Quality reviewed the draft Country strategies of different agencies including the World bank 7. Quality reviewed the IMF mission PSI reports and advised the Nordic IMF board representation accordingly. 8. Take responsibility for dialogue between the Embassy and Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development and actively participate in Development Partner Working Groups such as the Donor Economist Group, Public Financial Management Development Partners Group and the Public Expenditure Review Working Group. 9. Management of different donor government programmes including the expired DANIDA support to the public sector management sector, public service reform programme, and the Poverty Reduction development Plan (PRDP) among others. 10. Technically participating in annual joint sector reviews including the Joint Annual review of Decentralisation. 11. Participation in the analysis of national and sector development policies, plans and public expenditure programmes, the budget processes and all discussions around the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF). 12. Dialogue and participate in the International Monetary Fund s Policy Support Instrument and the World Bank s Poverty Reduction Support Credit process. 13. Studying, advising and dealing with various economic aspects such as monetary, fiscal policies and income. 14. Monitoring and assessing the macroeconomic situation and the implementation of macroeconomic policies. This also involves participation in Public Expenditure Reviews and writing routine (monthly/quarterly) status reports and economic updates. 15. Maintaining a statistical database to support macroeconomic analysis and forecasting. 16. Do annual and semiannual budget analyses. 2

Understanding and assessing the impact of economic social reforms through use of Social Accounting Matrix tool- World Bank training July 2 nd -6 th
6 DANIDA Online PFM Training: The online basic introductory course details the basic PFM framework of fiscal discipline, operational efficiency and allocative efficiency, while defining the tools of PFM. The training does an extensive coverage of the basic budget planning cycle from planning to oversight and what key PFM messages to look out for. Advanced Public Financial Management training by DFID in Glasgow-April This training provided advanced training to PFM practitioners and builds from the DANIDA online PFM training. The Course gives extensive hands on training on most of the PFM instruments, including understanding the PFM reform strategies in different countries like Cambodia that uses a platform approach in its reform, detailed understanding of methodology used in PEFA among others DANIDA Economists meeting on Aid Effectiveness st -3 rd April This was a follow up on the Paris review 2008 and understanding the different mechanism of budget support used in respective countries. I made the presentation on Uganda. 6
