2 NATIONAL LEVEL PRIORITIES Support National Level TAC Workshop on SMART Facilitation for FP Advocates in Nigeria Provide support to 12 State AWGs throughout the year in developing and implementing their advocacy strategies Support the Nigeria GFF Core Team review and adopt GFF Country Guidance Note

3 STATE LEVEL PRIORITIES Support states to set up mechanism to expand PPFP services Support State owned higher learning institutions in 2 states implement strategies to expand adolescent access to family planning information and services Support two states implement strategies to expand adolescent access to family planning information and services Support two states to set up mechanism to expand PPFP services Create Two Media FP Working Groups to develop strategies to advance FP Support one state creates a platform for CSO engagement with GFF focal point

4 AWGS OBJECTIVES Advocacy Group ing Objectives Balanced Stewardship Development Association (BALSDA) Objective 1: Ekiti state Ministry of health developed Family Planning Costed implementation plan by June 30, 2018 Christian Advocacy for Family Planning in Africa (CA) C/O ECWA CENTRAL PHARMACY LTD (ECPL) Community Health and Research Initiative Association for the Advancement of Family Planning (A) Objective 1: Five (5) Christian denominational leaders in Plateau State integrate modern family planning information and services into their marital counselling and health service provision by May Objective 2: The Commissioner of Health Plateau State MOH includes health workers from the FBOs' health facilities of the 5 Christian denominations in state trainings on FP by May Objective 1: The Kano state Commissioner of Health releases 70% of the budget allocated to Family Planning 2017 SOML budget line by December 2017 Objective 2: To use evidence based budget scorecard that tracks Kano state SOML Family Planning allocation, releases and expenditure from December 2017 April 2018 Objective 1: The 2017 Fiscal year FP budget released by the FMOH- Permanent Secretary - to the RH/FP Division following submitted branch priorities by December, Objective 2: The Federal Ministry of Health includes in the 2018 budget, proposal funds to implement the renewed London Summit Commitment relevant for health (FP2020 London Commitments 1,2, 6, 7,8, 11,12) by April 2018

5 AWGS OBJECTIVES Advocacy Group ing Objectives AFRIPOD Youth Objective 1: By March 2018 at least 3 traditional/religious leaders in 2 Group, Abuja states (Rivers and Kwara) to make public declaration in support of FP for Young pple Young People for Global Health (YPGH), Cross River State Public Health Sustainable Advocacy Initiative, Lagos State Objective 1: The Director General of Cross River State Primary Health Care Development Agency incorporates AYSRY training into lab training for Nurses and Chews in PHCs across CRS by January 2018 Objective 1: Sole Administrators in the 5 LGAs/LCDAs to provide budgetary allocation and release for provision of free FP Consumables by September Objective 2: PHCB to include FP Budget line item by September Objective 3. Use PMA2020 FP data for advocacy planning, resourcing & implementation by September Objective 4: Promote access to contraception by women and adolescents through media coverage in Lagos State by September 2017.

7 AWGS OBJECTIVES Advocacy Group ing Objectives Advocacy Core Group, Objective 1: Executive Governor of the state for the release of the approved budgeted Oyo State fund for FP services by September 2017 Objective 2: LGA Chairmen to set aside money for FP in the LGA budget for 2017 Objective 3: Promote access to contraception by women and adolescents through media coverage in Lagos State by September Voice for Family Planning and Reproductive Health Center, Plateau State Objective 1: Plateau State House of Assembly approves the budget line for Family Planning by May Objective 2: Accountant General releases approved budgeted funds for Family Planning activities by June Objective 3: At least 5 LGA Chairmen release funds from the current LGA health budget for procurement and distribution of consumables for FP services by September Objective 4: The Commissioner for Health domesticate the Costed Implementation Plan Blueprint by September Objective 5: To implement strategies to expand adolescent access to family planning information and services by September Objective 6: Domesticate WHO criteria for post-partum family planning. Objective 7: Media outfits in Plateau State (Nigeria Television Authority, Plateau Radio Television Corporation, Nigerian Standard, Unity FM, Silver Bird and Galaxy Television) create regular segments that advance women and adolescent access to contraception by September 2017
