After spending a few hours reading this book I decided that the only way I can better my financial picture was to take some steps, skepticism and all. Needless to say, this book offers some really great insights that I first hand experienced when I decided to change my credit rating. I had a charge off with Bank of America that had some severe derogatory remarks on my credit reports and I still owed the balance. Not only did Bank of America remove this account from my credit reports, but the end result allowed for my credit score to go up 65 points. After reading this book, I found a way to not only write a great letter requesting the removal of the account from my credit reports, but I also learned that you can only be stuck as long as you want to be. Taking small steps and working bigger and tougher problems is what this book is designed to assist you with. I am now tackling inquiries, as I have many... Best advice for those needing help, save your money and just follow this book. Why pay someone else when this book assists you every step of the way! I found this book very informative. It's obvious that the author has a lot of experience in the credit

3 repair and mortgage industries, and explains it all in easy to understand terms. She also includes multiple sample letters that can be used to dispute incorrect or derogatory items. Perhaps even more importantly, she dispels some common credit repair myths, such as the use of debt consolidation firms and online disputes. I highly recommend this book! This is a great book for repairing your credit. I found it easy to read, understand, and comprehend. The book is laid out in steps (step 1 do this, step 2 do this, etc.), which makes it easy to follow. The book covers all areas of credit repair (collections, charge offs, bankruptcy, etc.). There are also instructions for obtaining sample letters found in the book. Carolyn also responds to s very quickly. Highly recommended book. This book had so much useful information. I have ready MANY credit repair books, but none have helped me like this one. This book has real advice that has been used and actually works. Easy step by step guide. I have tried some of the same tactics in the past and achieved a credit score of 786. After life's ups and downs I need to get back to my excellent credit rating and some of the information about the weight of different lending and inquiry activities is a great help in knowing what areas to leverage that have the greatest impact on the FICO score. This book is incredibly informative and really allows you to understand how credit bureaus work. If your score is hurting and you have information on your report that is incorrect or negative, I highly suggest grabbing a copy because it will allow you to increase your score and make your life easier.for example, dispute letters are included so you don't have to compose your own from scratch. Also, the author provides clear instructions on exactly how to send the disputes and why online disputing is a big mistake and ineffective. In addition, there are tips on how many credit accounts to have, what the balances should be, and how to manage them to achieve the highest score. It even includes an actual sample score card!

4 I have read about 3 other credit repair books and this is by far the BEST!! She answers the who, what, how, and why of all techniques where others have been somewhat vague. Plus, it is a good read finished in one day. I thought I was ready to send out my dispute letters but now will revise approach based on what I learned in this book. I will post again after utilizing information obtained. Instantly helpful. My wife hates to read and she didn't want to put this down. Instantly tested a few things, instantly worked.
