7 Qualifications Maximum loan amount linked to SFA funding rate Student Loans Company assesses application based on date learner is due to start a qualification
8 Approving providers Currently approved loans providers 776 in 2014 to 2015 funding year 764 (offered) for 2015 to 2016 funding year Figures as at 31 March 2015 Eligibility to deliver provider is on the Register of Training Organisations, and has Adult Skills Budget funding, or has been successful in Expression of Interest process SFA issues Facility Conditions each year sets out the terms with which providers must comply required to allow Student Loans Company to assess and approve loans
9 Approving providers Loans bursary offered to all providers with a loan facility available to support loans-funded learners provides learner and learning support and includes area costs provider manages allocation and publishes bursary policy process for earning funding differs based on provider type grant-funded providers can combine loans bursary with discretionary learner support (DLS) to use flexibly for both loans learners and other learners
