Please note that daily charges are applied regardless of energy use, so please ensure the Lifestyle PAYG meter is in credit to avoid charges building up.
4 How does Lifestyle PAYG work? Switching We will contact your current supplier to tell them you are switching. Should this be delayed for any reason, we will contact you. After switching, you ll receive a final statement from your current supplier. Installation We ll call you to arrange an appointment to install a new Lifestyle PAYG meter (subject to site suitability^). The location of your meter will be determined after our technician undertakes a site assessment. At your installation appointment our RECI ualified technician will help you get started. Please allow up to 90 minutes for the technician to install the meter. They will also load your 5 free credit. We will also provide you with a conveniently locat ed Lifestyle PAYG keypad which you can use to monitor and Top Up your electricity usage. Topping Up, low credit, friendly credit - See our user guide at sseairtricity.com What is Interim energy use? Between now and when your meter is installed you will use energy. This is referred to as your interim energy use. You can choose how you pay for your interim energy usage. Pay up-front over the phone by Debit or Credit Card during your installation appointment, or Pay by deducting the balance from your meter at 25% of your Top Ups. Our sales guarantee to you At SSE Airtricity we are committed to ensuring that your switch to us is conducted in a transparent and fair manner. Any information we provide to you about our own products and rates, and those of our competitors, will always be accurate and fair. We won t mislead a customer. We will always ask you to complete a uality assurance check when you sign up. We will send you an confirming the details of the product you selected and of how you can cancel if you wish to. If you are misled during our sales process and pay more for your energy with us we will compensate you. ^Please note: If our technician finds a Lifestyle PAYG meter cannot be installed at the premises, they will give you the details of our Lifestyle PAYG Support team who will explain your options.

We urge you to check this carefully to ensure that everything you agreed with our representative has been accurately recorded. If you change your mind you have a 14 calendar day cancellation period, during which you can cancel your switch. 6 Lifestyle Pay As You Go Key terms and Conditions - 1 year fixed term contract 1. These terms apply to the SSE Airtricity Lifestyle Pay As You Go (Lifestyle PAYG) tariff ( Tariff ). 2. The Tariff is available to new and existing SSE Airtricity electricity domestic energy customers choosing to pay using a Lifestyle PAYG Meter. 3. These terms are in addition to: a. General Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Electricity and/or Gas by SSE Airtricity Limited to domestic premises in the Republic of Ireland ( SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions ) which can be found on our website at www. sseairtricity.com; and b. SSE Airtricity s Customer Agreement Form ( CAF ).Together, these terms, the SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions and the CAF are referred to as the Agreement. 4. Your Tariff, including the daily service charge for the use of the Lifestyle PAYG meter is set out in the table overleaf, and is against the SSE Airtricity standard tariff rate ( SSE Airtricity Standard ). The SSE Airtricity Standard rate may be amended from time to time and this will impact your Tariff. 5. Free installation of your Lifestyle PAYG meter is subject to you remaining on this Tariff for the first calendar year, from the date that SSE Airtricity is registered as your supplier and/or SSE Airtricity issues product confirmation to you. 6. Once you have signed up, there is a 14 day cancellation period. There is no penalty for cancelling your switch during the cancellation period or in the event that it is determined that your Premises is not suitable for a Lifestyle PAYG Meter. You may use the cancellation form provided to you but you do not have to. 7. If you leave the Tariff after the Cancellation Period or the Agreement is ended by you at any time before the end of the Term, a termination charge of 150 will be applied to your account to recover the cost of installation and removal of the Lifestyle PAYG Meter. 8. After the expiration of the Term, you may leave the Tariff. If you choose to have your Lifestyle PAYG removed after the expiration of the Term a meter removal charge will apply. Please see our schedule of charges online for details of the charge that will apply. 9. SSE Airtricity reserves the right to amend and pass through any variation to the unit rates or charges due to a change in a government or industry charge and/ or levy (including a change in VAT) or as otherwise provided for in the SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions. 10. SSE Airtricity reserves the right to withdraw the Tariff without notice at any time prior to the start of the Term. 11. To avail of the Tariff, you accept that to be supplied with electricity you MUST prepay for credit and apply this credit to your Lifestyle PAYG Meter. If you are not satisfied that you can regularly Top-Up your meter, then this Tariff and the Lifestyle PAYG Meter may not be suitable for your needs. 12. You accept that if your Lifestyle PAYG Meter runs out of credit your electricity supply will automatically disconnect. 13. It is your responsibility to look after your Lifestyle PAYG Meter Card keeping it clean, safe and free from damage. 14. You accept that if the Lifestyle PAYG Meter has no credit, daily charges will still apply and will accrue. 15. SSE Airtricity will regularly reconcile any difference between the consumption recorded on your ESB Networks Meter and the Lifestyle PAYG Meter. If this reconciliation shows that any amount payable is outstanding, you will be liable for such outstanding amount. 16. In addition to the exclusions of liability set out in our SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions, SSE Airtricity accepts no liability for damage or loss caused by your failure to Top-Up your Lifestyle PAYG Meter. You accept it is your responsibility to ensure your Premises are adeuately insured to include the use of a Lifestyle PAYG Meter, if this is reuired.
