The applicant furthermore agrees that the applicant has thoroughly read and understood these Terms and Conditions. The applicant understands that by submitting the online application the applicant will purchase a Finance Turtle Membership via the websites as listed above. A digital binding mandate is automatically generated by the website, which shall include and constituted a digital signature (IP address location, Date and Time of Submission). 2 DISCOUNTED BENEFITS: No Application Fee and 10% Discount on the DEBT COUNSELLING FEE for financially stretched members; 50% Discount on the purchases of Record Keeping System In order to become a member the client agrees to pay a once off registration fee of R199 and there after a monthly membership fee of R99 every month until the membership is terminated. Should the member terminate his/her membership, dispute his/her debit order or not make provision for the debit order the member will no longer enjoy any of the above benefits. Finance Finding Facility Finance Turtle is not a Credit Provider or a broker, agent or representative of a Credit Provider; we do not conduct any credit checks and have no influence over approved or declined applications. Finance Turtle do not receive any commissions or fees from any Credit Provider. Finance Turtle and its employee s only act on instructions given by the client to submit your details as per online application form to our panel of financial services providers that we may deem fit, on your behalf. Please note that the once off registration fee of R199 and the monthly membership fee of R99 will be charged regardless of the outcome of your loan application. Finance Turtle does not provide financial advice as you will deal with the financial institutions directly. In some circumstances faxing and ing of additional documents may be required. For details, questions and pay outs, please contact the Credit Provider directly. PLEASE NOTE: Your application for finance will not be approved if: You earn less than R3 000 per month You are not a South African citizen with a green bar coded ID You are younger than 18 years old and older than 65 years old You are a TEMP WORKER, DOMESTIC WORKER, or if you ONLY EARN COMMISSION You don t bank with ABSA, FNB, NEDBANK, STANDARD BANK or CAPITEC You have any of the following accounts: Mzansi, Money Builder, Student, Sum 1 and any other account which cannot be debited. Your salary doesn t get paid into your own account, unless if you have a Power of Attorney proofing that you have access to the account into which your salary gets paid.
3 You are working at your current employer for less than 90 days (3 months) You cannot afford to make more debt. You MUST have funds available after your expenses to repay for a loan. If not your application will be declined. You are under or have applied for Administration, Sequestration, Liquidation or Deb Counseling (Debt Review) Please note that even if you have a letter stating that the order was removed it MUST be removed from the Credit Bureau before you can apply for a loan. You agree that the information you have submitted as per the online application is true and correct. Other Member Benefits: Finance Turtle Members will only qualify for the BENEFITS with the exception of the Finance Finding Facility, once the first monthly payment of R99 was successfully received. In order to make use of any of these benefits you can simply send an to the relevant department for prompt feedback and assistance. Last Will and Testament wills@financeturtle.co.za Family Funeral Cover + Value Added Benefits cover@financeturtle.co.za Debt Review/Debt Counselling debthelp@financeturtle.co.za Record Keeping System record@financeturtle.co.za Debit order Mandate and Authority: The applicant understands that by submitting the online application the applicant will purchase a Finance Turtle Membership, the applicant gives Finance Turtle permission to debit the once off registration fee of R199 and there after a monthly membership fee of R99 using the banking details provided in the applicant s online application from, until such time the applicant terminates this agreement by sending an to admin@financeturtle.co.za. The applicant hereby instructs Finance Turtle to load a Naedos debit order against the applicant s bank account as provided on the online application, or confirmed via or SMS (or any other bank or branch to which the applicant may transfer his/her account) on the applicant s next salary date using a reputable debit order system namely BDB Data Bureau on the condition that the sum of such payment instruction will never exceed the sum of R199 as agreed to in the Agreement. The applicant understands that in the event that the payment day falls on a Saturday, Sunday or recognized South African public holiday, the payment day will automatically be on the day the applicant s salary will be paid into his/her bank account as per our agreement. Further, if there are insufficient funds in the nominated account to meet the obligation, the applicant gives permission to track his/her bank account and re present the instruction for payment as soon as sufficient funds are available in the applicant s bank account.
4 Withdrawals hereby authorized will be processed through a computerized system provided by the South African Banks and the applicant also understand that details of each withdrawal will be printed on the applicant s bank statement and reflect the name BDB or FINTURTLE together with the applicant s reference number (ID number). The applicant acknowledges that all payments instructions issued by the applicant shall be treated by the applicant s Bank as if the instructions have been issued by the applicant personally. The applicant understands and agrees that although this Authority and Mandate may be cancelled by the applicant; such cancellations will not cancel the Agreement. The applicant shall not be entitled to any refund of amounts which the applicant have withdrawn while this Authority as in force, if such amounts were legally owing to the applicant. The applicant acknowledges that this Authority and Mandate has been ceded to BDB Data Bureau. Privacy Protecting your privacy is important to Finance Turtle and our employees. Finance Turtle uses a reputable external company who manages hardware and software which ensure that our data is protected both on and offsite for our applicant s protection. The applicant s online privacy is further protected through THAWTE. The purposes for which Finance Turtle will use your personal information are as follows: to transact with the you via the website, , phone or SMS regarding applications; to provide additional services to you via the website, , phone or SMS; to inform you of new features, services, special offers and products; to enable us to process, validate and verify applications and requests for services; and for the purposes for which you specifically provided the information. Whilst Finance Turtle and our employee s take reasonable measures to keep personal information about you confidential, we shall however not be liable for any loss or damage, howsoever arising, suffered as a result of the disclosure of such information. We will not retain your personal information longer than the period for which it was originally needed, unless we are required by law to do so, or you consent to us retaining such information for a longer period. Opting Out If you do not want to receive promotional information from us, you can contact us at any time to opt out by sending an to info@financeturtle.co.za. Please note that if you opt out of receiving promotional material from us, you still may receive such material from our third party content providers, affiliates and other parties to whom we provide your information in the course of doing business.
5 Termination: Finance Turtle Memberships can only be terminated in the following instances: All applicants will receive notification on receipt of online application via . Once applied online, applicants have 2 (Two) days to cancel their membership from date of application. We reserve the right to enforce our STRICT cancellation process and applicants can forfeit this process if it is not correctly followed. Applications who cancel their membership after they made use of the Finance Finding Facility will be charged an once off fee of R199 for our services. No refunds will be considered if any applicant cancels outside of the 2 (Two) day cooling off period and the applicant shall remain responsible for the payment to Finance Turtle. Service Excellence: As per the requirements of the Consumer Protection Act No 68 of 2008, should you feel the need to lodge a complaint, kindly forward your complaint to complaints@financeturtle.co.za. We strive to resolve all complaints within 3 working days from date of receipt.
