Kindly write the given and the formula to be used. Show your complete solution on the space provided for. Special Instruction: Please round off the final answer only to the nearest hundredths, and observe the correct rounding off. Also, please make sure to put the correct sign (i.e. % if rate of interest, peso sign, and years if asking for time). Lastly, please avoid any form of erasures. ERASURES mean WRONG The investment of Mr. Jock De Luna amounting of P15, was doubled after 7 years and 6 months. Compute the amount of interest and the interest rate Mr. Ernan De Jesus borrowed P15, for 2.5 years, with interest of 8%. How much must he repay at the end of that time? Mr. Malvin Mendones loaned his friend, Mr. Kareem Janohan, P10, for a 1 1/2 years at 9%. What is the amount that Mr. Janohan must pay when the loan expires?

2 Mr. Jeremias Rivera borrowed P5, for 2 years at 8 1/2 % simple interest. How much must he repay at the end of 2 years? In order to buy a stereo set, Mr. Mark Jezreel Blanquisco borrowed P14, from his friend Mr. Ian Maverick Pantaleon, at 9 1/2% simple interest. He repaid the loan 3 1/2 years later. How much did Mr. Pantaleon receive from Mr. Blanquisco? Mr. Raymond Espeso borrowed P16, from a relative to open a sari-sari store. He repaid the loan together with the interest 5 1/2 years later at 10 1/2% simple interest rate. How much dis Mr. Espeso pay his relative?

Mr. Neil Andrew Cacas borrowed P8, Seven months later, he repaid the loan together with the interest at a total amount of P8, What was the rate of interest? If Mr. Bernard Alan Bandola loans P8, at 9 1/2 % rate, how long will it take to have P interest? Mr. Peter Salivio borrowed P25, for 3 years at 8% simple interest. How much was the amount charged for the use of money? Mr. Cronimar Sitoy borrowed P15, at 6% simple interest. He was charged an interest of P1, Compute the duration of the loan in years.

4 Mr. Junaid Ampuan deposited an amount of P32, in a bank that gives 4.5% on savings account. How much shall be the accumulated value of the investment after 3 years and 7 months? How much shall be the interest earnings? Miss Ems Galsote takes a job, starting with an hourly wage of P and is promised a raised of P5.00 per hour every two months for 5 years. At the end of 5 years, what would be Miss Galsote's hourly wage? A gardener is making a triangular planting with 40 plants in the front row, 36 in the second row, 32 in the third row and so on. If the pattern is consistent, how many plants will there be in the last row? Miss Chantal Penafuerte bought a lot at the beginning of year 2000 for P50, If it increased P1, in value each year, how much is it worth at the end of 2025?

5 Miss Kaycee De Torres bought a machine worth P29, If it depreciates P in value each year, what will be its value at the end of 10 years? Miss Red Igay accepts a teaching position in a private school and will receive a salary of P96, for the first year. Miss Igay is guaranteed a raise of P1, per year for the first five years. How much will Miss Igay be receiving on the sixth year if she is given the same raise? Find out how many terms of the arithmetic sequence 12, 10 1/2, 9, 7 1/2,... must be taken in order that the sum will be equal to zero.
