2 The President s Report Welcome to 64th Annual Meeting of Rivermark Com-munity Credit Union. I consider 2014 to have been one of our most successful years. Not only did we have an outsting year financially, but we also had a phenomenal year in executing on our 2014 Business Plan. Our most visible success was rollout of our new Gresham Station Branch (now known as a Member Resource Center) featuring leading edge personal teller technology. Leading up to that achievement was introduction of new technology in our Beaverton Hawthorne Drive-Ups. We ve taken a bold step in providing progressive technology to our members. This mission of improving access convenience for our members will continue to be a major focus of ours. As we were introducing our new branch model delivery channels to our members, Credit Union continued to show solid growth in many areas; including loans, deposits, assets, earnings, capital, members. We were also very busy executing or key 2014 initiatives, which included; Addressing our rewards debit credit programs, launching member business services, setting a foundation to replace our loan origination system, improving online new member experience, strengning our performance culture. So, as you can see, we had an extremely productive year! And our strong financial performance allowed us to build on strategic momentum established in net income was strong in 2014, finishing year at $5.4 million, or a return on average assets of.94%. The strong earnings were driven by a substantial increase in loan interest (up $1.36 million compared to 2013). We also experienced continued improvement in our loan quality, with record low levels of loan delinquency charge-offs. As a result, we continued to experience substantial relief in need to provision for anticipated loan losses. Operating expenses finished year $35,488 over budget. With an operating budget of $24 million for year, this variance is reflective of well managed expenses. The financial successes in 2014 have provided Rivermark necessary capital to remain focused on our longer term vision of making life better for our members with incredible financial solutions, anywhere, anytime. And finally, we are extremely proud that Rivermark continues to make a positive difference in our member s lives. Our not-for-profit cooperative structure is truly adding value to membership. Collectively, Rivermark membership delivered you your fellow members nearly $15 million in savings last year; an average of $305 per member. All of that just for having your accounts with Rivermark rar than a bank. We will continue to build on great momentum achieved in 2014, look forward to a great year serving you. Thank you for being a member of Rivermark! Scott Burgess - President/CEO From a financial perspective, 2014 was anor strong year. The Credit Union finished year with assets totaling $614.9 million, up $45.6 million, or 8%. In 2014, deposits were up $36.8 million, led by Regular Shares (up $11.9 million) Checking (up $25.2 million). The growth in Checking has been key for us, as it is a product that solidifies deepens relationship with our members. Historically, nearly 8 of 10 new members open up a checking account with Rivermark. The most notable aspect of our financial performance in 2014 surrounded loan growth, in which we achieved record net growth of $89.2 million, or nearly 22%. If you attended last year s annual meeting, you may recall that we noted a significant upturn in loan activity in Fall of That strength carried over into 2014 has continued into Our loan growth is likely a reflection of pent up consumer dem improving economic condition of our members. The Supervisory Committee of Rivermark Community Credit Union is made up of 3 to 5 people appointed by Board of Directors for a one-year term. Their objective is to preserve a financially stable Credit Union that will function in best interest of all members. The Vice Chairman gave an explanation of ir role in monitoring credit union operations procedures. This committee oversees initiating of annual audit, conducts biennial member account verification, provides an on-going review of closed accounts. This Committee meets on a monthly basis. The Vice Chairman n introduced Supervisory Committee members who were present at meeting: Supervisory Committee Chairman Bill Roberts Jr Jeremy Vehey. The Vice Chairman asked if re were any questions regarding Supervisory Committee Report, which was also contained in Annual Report. There were no questions raised. The President s Report was included in 2013 Annual Report. The Vice Chairman asked if re were any questions regarding President s Report.
