He has over 20 years of tax experience, of which five were in corporate income tax compliance and advisory before he moved to indirect tax. Currently he is a Tax Technical Committee Member with both the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). Cheng Guan has extensive knowledge of the business operations of his wide range of local and multinational clients in Malaysia, particularly those in the automotive, property and consumer products industries. His key clients include companies involved in the automotive, property development, education, manufacturing, fast moving consumer goods, electronics and technology industries; ports, power generation plants, joint ventures, construction, tobacco, oil and gas, trading and services companies.
